Can i ask what the point actually would be. Im guessing they rang members and didnt ask for anything. How does it help the club apart from sort of sounding like you care a little. I'm with Plugger ... no injuries == good result. The actuall score is pretty much irrelevent in a practice match.

No I wouldnt because community standards have changed. Smoking does no good at all and kills. If we didnt really know or care like 20 years ago then go for it but we do know now. I'm with JB on this ... gambling is a stupidity tax. Even so, that's just my opinion. it's legal, and humans have gambled thoughout the ages. Not going to be stopped anytime soon I think ...

The bloke we should be looking at is Merrett from Brisbane. Good size, plays KPD, can pinch hit forward, has a nice amount of mongrel in him (ask Roo!). If we are going to spend serious coin get a good'un I reckon.

Ray has to come in ... too good for VFL, and has been pretty good in his recent AFL games. Wouldn't mind seeing Dunell play a full game, but not sure who else shpould come out. Jack & BJ need a follow up game to show some form.

IANAL, but a I believe a deliberate behind is an infringement, and a free kick is awarded with no score recorded. Same result if a free is paid in a marking contest where the ball ends up through the points, but a free is awarded against a player in that contest. No score recorded ...
