Re: Direct contact

I reckon we'd have a better chance of pulling Roo out of retirement before a club official would agree to come onto this garbage forum! Why do you think it’s a garbage forum ? I just think it's a pretty stale and negative environment that offers little to nil value - I just scan it because I'm bore...

Watch Party @ RSEA this Sunday

Thinking about going to this but would like to know if it's worthwhile. Has anyone been to one of these before? I was going to go to the Sydney game but had to pull out last minute. Cheers

Re: Players which you got wrong

Zak Jones - I thought he was good but his true colours are coming through. He is the softest tough guy going out and you can see why he was a half back flanker at Sydney and never in their midfield. He can't tackle, he can't break tackles, he struggles to kick goals, and he struggles to kick the foo...

Re: Question for Ratten lovers

Why was Sandy so good Saturday? Hanneberry? Bachelor? Organic bond between the youngsters? Hope the AFL team does not spoil the current chemistry those guys have. Brett, any lessons there? Because we were playing a team who have only won 3 games for the year and don't have any AFL-listed players. A...

I can see why the folk in it perhaps don't want it to be circulated but IMO it's arguably the best footage from a fan's perspective league-wide, and appears to be an honest portrayal on what was the norm back then. From a time capsule perspective, it doesn't get any better and whilst the language ha...

Much like the men’s program, pick flankers and Hope like hell they become mids…unbelievable!!
Anderson is an inside-mid that CAN go forward. Hannah Stuart is a pure mid that will have an immediate impact!

Re: AFLW Draft

Yeah I found that a little bit strange as the Mongrel draft (excerpt below) had her at 30 in their top 30 (equivalent of roughly 13th in the available Victorian pool) and we did the same last draft with Ella Friend and Ash Richards (both were tipped to go a bit later in the draft) where it's been a ...

I think he would have made a huge difference against Brisbane but outside of that, we've gone as well as we could've hoped without him. Can't wait for him to get back in the phonebox against Sydney!

Re: Brad Hill

As mentioned before, Hill and a few others were crook where if Sandy were playing the following day, Hill and co wouldn’t have played. Good effort to get on the ground but unfortunately he and others didn’t have a good game. I would pay good money to watch some posters call Hill pathetic to his face...

Geez there are some dero’s on this forum. FWIW - if I feel like posting something AFLW related I will post it in the main thread and won’t include an AFLW warning regardless of whether someone creates a sub-forum for the AFLW. If you’re too brain dead or time poor to discern that a thread is not men...

Re: Rhi Watt delisted

Yeah we'll have to wait and see how the Watt delisting works out. I guess we see better long term candidates out there right now, instead of taking a one season replacement for her. She's much loved, but even the most loved players' days are numbered. She'll always be a Saint, always welcomed back....

And will be picked up by Melbourne I find this decision staggering Yes she has a knee injury that will keep her out (I believe) of the next season But she was a fantastic Sainter , not the best in the team but a leader and mentor How could she not be kept on to help all the young players in our squ...

Nah, no thanks. You don't deal with drug cheats and that's exactly what the bombers are. In a roundabout way we can thank them for the acquisition of Jade Gresham. There's no way we would have used pick 6 on Gresh and given that we had picked up Paddy Mc the year before, I doubt we would've gone fo...

Not sure what game you were watching but I thought Paton was good against the Roos. 9 marks, 15 touches @ 80 percent dis eff is pretty solid. With 46 games under his belt, Paton is the future and will keep improving. As good as he has been throughout his career, Geary is only getting a game if inju...

Serious question. I am going to my first live game at Marvel in 20 years. Downstairs you can't but you might be able to sneak in and hope you're not in ...

These days anything can be offensive , so " let's go saintas let's go " is probably AFL approved .

Re: Moorabbin Wing and Saintly Hymns

It would be nice if the cheersquad adopted some of the more simple chants from the aisle 29 bunch/saintly hymns. They would be the first cheersquad in the competition to do something different and it's only a matter of time before other clubs catch on so would be a shame if our cheersquad are still...
