Re: Do players sign IP like agreements before departure?

Like when they move on to other clubs? Do they sign something or agree not share the team plans, strategies of their former club? Hodge, Marsden etc.? Max joining the Pies helped them in the GF against us. Yep he sure did. Blame that prick Lyin for that though. In his book Roo made mention of the i...

We win.

How many players come back from such a long lay off and play decent football? Apart from Daniel Menzel, I can't think of a single one.
Peter Hudson?

Re: Jack Steven ... 58 :(

If Geelong can nurse him back to being an elite player then good luck to them. It is something we tried to do but failed, and it is unlikely we would have been able to get him back to any where near his best if he had stayed with us. 58 is an okay result all things considered.

Mods, can we please amend this post to spell this guy's name correctly. I like a good laugh as much as anyone, but the joke has gone on way too long and is just plain disrespectful to the bloke.

Is anyone really upset Jamie left us? Some players who have left you see playing and think "oh god we can do with them now" (Hello Tom Lynch) But personally I have never felt that way about Cripps. No. I'm a bit upset they got rid of Hutchins so early (one year as a rookie and then he had...

The players should be very satisfied with how they played yesterday. Freo were very good, and Fyfe was unbelievable. It took everything we had to beat them.

Re: One of the worst umpiring displays I have ever seen

People claiming this was the worst umpiring they have ever seen have clearly not seen us playing the Eagles here in Perth! That’s true but given it was in Melbourne against an interstate team the roles should be a reversed a bit. I think the anger is about the AFL promoting someone based on gender ...

Most significant WA politicians were there, and quite a few past aboriginal players from various clubs from WA and interstate. Big Gill was there, proclaiming his...

Re: ROO wants St Kilda Tasmanians

IF the St Kilda Footy Club "relocates" to Tassie, then it is no longer "The St. Kilda Footy Club"................ I would then be barracking for Sandy in the VFL. Funny thing is - Tassie is probably a lot more like our namesake than Moorabbin/Docklands. If the Saints moved to Ta...

Every club does it. Even us to some degree. Back in the whole Shiel process I actually think the discussion turned to this topic. This was always going to happen. I'm just surprised it made it to the open so quickly. Maybe so - but that doesn't make it right. Any financial perks/inducements offered...

The umpire called play on before the Parker tackle, so no problem there. The biggest error was the non-call for the Hawks' deliberate out of bounds.

Great save by Baker, and classic dive at the other end by Milne.
Our win in 2009 in Tassie with 6 of our best players out was pretty sweet too.
