Sydney just got Lewis Taylor for pick 48. Is he better than Zak Jones?

Not according to those talking on SEN before 3pm today.
All said Jones was better than Taylor

Let me get this straight...

Blake Acres
+
Picks No. 10
+
Pick No. 58
+
St Kilda's 2020 2nd Rounder
+
St Kilda's 2020 4th Rounder

= Brad Hill & Freo's 3rd Rounder 2020?

The trade for Hill is ridiculous

He’s a gun, but

That is ridiculous

We got reamed - Fremantle receives Blake Acres, a first-round draft pick (currently No.10), a third-round draft pick (currently No.58), a future second-round pick and a future fourth-round pick!!!!

Not happy at all - I would have accepted that deal without a player - but f@rk!

A future 3rd round pick comes to us, according to Herald Sun.

Welcome Brad Hill
Acres, pick 10, pick 58, StKilda's 2020 second rounder, a 2020 fourth rounder unclear whether that is tied to StKilda or Port Adelaide
The only question is which future 2020 fourth rounder is left to tempt Richmond to give us Dan Butler.
Josh Bruce NOT traded as yet, I hope it fails.
I would love him to stay but he will probably be part of a deal that brings us Zac Jones.
Updated we got a 2020 third rounder back.

This looks to be the official deal. How hard is it for the club to get this right.

Whose 4th rounder did we use the one attached to St Kilda or Port Adelaide
Whose 3rd rounder did we get is it the one attached to Fremantle or another club.
It shoulfd be Fremantle as they have not received any other clubs future 3rd rounder

The AFL is either INCOMPETENT or CORRUPT or both.
This failure to detail which club a future draft pick is attached to is how they ended up signing off on the O'Meara deal that was NOT within the rules.

let's be honest, Fremantle only got pick 10. The rest of the picks are junk pics anyway and Acres is no good.

And besides, pick 10 could be a gun or a dud. who knows.

We've had pick 1 recently and stuffed it up.

Long story short, we traded in a known gun for lots of unknown pics and a player (Acres) who the new coach doesn't want.

We did very well.

Our future 2020 2nd rounder may not be worthless.
If St Kilda finishes in their preferred position that will be pick 20 after the Gold Coast priority.

If we finish in our preferred position, it's because having B Hill allowed us to finish in that position :D

Blake Acres, Jack Steven, 2019 pick 10, 2020 St Kilda 2nd rounder, 2020 St Kilda or Port Adelaide (unclear) 4th rounder FOR Brad Hill plus 2020 Fremantle 3rd rounder.

How many picks do we have this year as I understand we need to take 4 picks to the draft?

As far as im concerned, the third rounder is worth the same as the two 4th rounders. So basically its 10, an expensive Acres (500K deal?), and 2020 2nd for Hill. Thats fine and is MUCH better than giving up two firsts.

People need to calm down.

Each to their own but that’s not the way to look at it as it all originated with pick 6.

You need to take into account the deal involving PA which saw us land Howard, Ryder and now Hill
