She's just sticking with the theme of the article which refers to a "blank canvass".

Re: Welcome Ross Lyon
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/final-hurdle-removed-in-saints-pursuit-of-lyon-20221018-p5bqlm.html The remaining “hurdle” in Ross Lyon’s contract with St Kilda has been eased, paving the way for Lyon to be appointed the Saints’ new coach. The Saints denied on Sunday that a deal had been finalis...

Re: Ernie Merrick? WTF?
Of course he's salty and would go in to bat for him as Ratt's ultimate failure as our coach is an extension of Merrick's failure as his mentor. Not a soccer fan, can anyone enlighten me as to how many premierships/championships Merrick has compared to Lyon's tally? Thanks in advance Merrick has fou...

Re: Who else must go?
Let's remember when Ratten's contract was extended we were 8 and 3 and looking very likely for finals. That's the spin they are putting on it. As I recall he was signed after the Carlton game which took us to 9 and 6. Was that when it was signed or announced? May be two different time lines. I reca...

Re: Ross Lyon?
What I find slightly hypocritical and a little bemusing, is the very people who had the worst things to say about Ross Lyon, then, are now hailing him as the great hope of the St Kilda football club. Are they the same people? If some people always rated him and some people always hated him, that’s ...

We went past West Coast, GWS, Essendon and Port this year. Who will we go past next year?

Clark is the one that wanted to leave. He cracked the sads. Crap comment for a guy who has bled for the jumper. https://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fcontent.api.news%2Fv3%2Fimages%2Fbin%2F3aa36790180329efd3b21f3cd0bd0110&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxsports.com.au%2Fafl%2Fteam...

I think the second mention of Ryder is a typo, but are they saying Marshall and King alternating in the ruck?

It’s official. The Saints are pointless
Channel 9 yesterday on Pointless. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20221006/fc95518d2bb364835f362c0a2f79075f.jpg Out of 100 people in the UK, not one could name St Kilda as a place name in the AFL. Although the first word out of the contestant’s mouth was St Kilda. The good news is Collingwood, Carl...

Re: The Ben Long Deal
Wow. Can’t help but feel we got dicked in this deal. Pick 32 is essentially a worthless pick. Not worthless at all, But would be good to bundle up with a future second for another first rounder? 30 years of data would suggest there is no correlation with picks after 24 in the draft and delayed succ...

Re: The Ben Long Deal
Saints get pick 32 worth 584 points but give up 2023 4th round pick 67 worth 69 points at present. So 584 - 69 = 515 points that's between pick 35 and 36. PIck 69 could end up as a throw away so I like moving up the draft order a few places to 32. But with father-son picks in play it is hard to say...

Nobody's mentioned this... Saints' official twitter says 'The club welcomes Carl Dilena' as the new Chief Operating Officer. He was CEO or something at Norf. Not sure why we got this fella, not sure what the role entails http://saintsational.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=104994&p=1977312&hili...
