I am hell bent against it.

But ... I would ask 1 question of Eddie.

Where does he propose the players for the Tasmanian relocated team live?

I can't see any team getting Tasmanian Gov backing that is not located in Tasmania.

Therefore can anyone see any player from the saints relocating from Brighton to Tasmania?
Any player from an established Melbourne Team?

The money would need to be insane.

Wont happen.
Therefore training in Melbourne. Fly in fly out.

Tasmania will not support that model.

Eddie never knew what he was talking about, that's why, eventually, he was ousted, too much talky from bummy.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I 100% agree

St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

Best compromise is to play in Bass Strait.

How about King Island?

We were chasing that elusive cup
That's always out of reach
We grew sick of Cuddles Ratten
And his cliche-ridden speech

So we ventured to the Apple Isle
To give ourselves a chance
To end up at the MCG
For that September dance

But saynta and his acolytes

Last I checked

We have very little ties to StK

Train at Moorabbin

Play at Docklands

Haven’t been at the junction since 1965

Most of our supporters are either Bayside Melbourne or North West Tasmania

We call ourselves the Southern Saints (like the WB/WCE)
But still trade as the StK Saints and have the crest the same STKFC

Home base - Moorabbin
Home games - Hobart/Launceston/Marvel

Extinguish our Debt
Clarkson Coach
Priority Draft Selection

VFL Team
Frankston Saints - Frankston Park
Take over the Dolphins

Academy’s
Seaford “Linen House Centre”

Womens Team
Southern Saints - Moorabbin

Own the following areas
StK to Portsea
Tasmania

Academy’s
Seaford

Nice one, it actually goes very well with the Gilligan's Island theme song. I suppose each game is a 3 hour tour.

The vast majority of our supporters live in Melbourne ..... Full stop

We have been known as St Kilda since 1873 ..... Full stop

Why should I give a s*** about Tasmania ..... Full stop

Moorabbin is 50x closer to St Kilda than Tasmania is .... Full stop

We toyed with the Southern Saints moniker back in 1986 .... every St Kilda supporter hated it and it was smashed to the kerb .... Full stop

Stk supporters hated the move to Moorabbin initially

Our history at the junction is embarrassing

We oppose change whilst others embrace it
Hawthorn to TAS & left Glenferrie - 4 flags
Footscray to WB - flag
South to Sydney - 2 flags
Fitzroy to Brisbane- 3 flags

You eitjer keep moving with the times or stay irrelevant

Do you think the dogs give a s*** whether they were called Western Bulldogs or Footscray in 2016?!

Our history is rubbish - time to change it!

The Dogs never moved base .... stayed at Western Oval

We moved from JO to Moorabbin .... 11km

Hawks moved games from Glenferrie to Princes Park ..... 11.5km

South Melbourne had to move or die ..... and South Melbourne FC doesn't exist anymore anyway

Fitzroy had to move or die .... and Fitzroy FC doesn't exist anymore

You have a close connection to Tasmania .... a huge majority of Saints supporters don't

StK will always have a close connection with TAS

Baldock, Stewart, Lawrence - led us to our only flag

Riewoldt considers himself Tasmanian and has a house there.

South Melbourne would be completely dead if they didn’t go same with Brisbane

I know several ex STH and Fitzroy supporters who now follow Sydney and Brisbane

I am not for total relocation

Still 11 games in Melbourne and Home base in Moorabbin.

BTW
Hawthorn moved from Glenferrie to Waverley

South Melbourne & Fitzroy do not exist ..... they are dead

If our home base is in Melbourne and we play 11 games there why the need to change the name?

Tassie want their own team ...... Full stop

If the deal is on the table

I’d take it in a heartbeat

TBH
We are a club with a horrible history and no future - same with North

FFS - we are 12M in debt and the list is no good

So we can’t afford to rebuild and can’t afford not to… basically we are fkd

We will not win a premiership in our current position

That’s the hard truth!!!

Get your facts right BM, you just make your argument weaker.

To give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you are mistaking Lawrence with either Howell or Bingly? They were the other couple of Tassie boys who helped lead us to our only flag.

Sorry

Howell - who was VC

Lawrence and Bonney came the following year

Either way, it cannot be denied that we have a rich history with the apple isle with 3 of our 6 best ever players being taswegians!

I support StK

Because of those Tasmanians wearing the jumper - in the NWFU there has never been as big a name as Darryl Baldock

I think Bob Murray was born in Tassie.

But then again, if I was I would keep it quiet too.

This would all be much easier to deal with if we were playing games back to our old home ground at the Junction Oval.

Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!
