I don't know what a Director of coaching does so i can't decide if he'll be missed, especially as he never started.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I agree with Wayne.

What do they do? Do we really need one? As we haven't had one before(?), what have we been missing out on?

If their role is administrative, then I can't see that we need one. If it's to mentor a newbie (read, inexperienced) senior coach, then surely we could get in an assistant coach who could fulfill that role...? :?

John Worsfold?

i9f they combine the role as has been suggested for next year

then maybe this apprenticeship will lead to more the years after?
The official title is director of coaching, but it's fairly minor... it will be one day a week and game day," Jones said on Thursday.

I know just the man to give us that profile that fellow Saintsationalists have been calling for.

I'm told he's only available for 15 games, but what a 15 games will be!

It's time for another ride! 8-)

And based on previoius history... can't hurt our 'chances' in the various pre-season drafts.

Need to look at the football brains out there available, preferably someone not looking to Senior coach also to avoid conflicts. Based on that names such as Ratten, Brittan, Sanderson? , Worsfold, Cripps, . Pity Voss already gone as would be perfect for the role.

"ST KILDA is considering rolling its vacant general manager of football performance and director of coaching roles into the one position.

And it hopes to finalise an appointment within the next fortnight."

Spud has now been offered a roll with us, even though the Hawks announced on Friday he was joining their coaching panel.

Hey Trev, I don't suppose you know where I can find a ready supply of rat toss-bags to give or not give as the situation dictates?

Do we get $30K compensation from the Bulldogs for their late poaching of our staff who are under contract - or is that only Collingwood that that applies to?
