Re: Absolute BulSSSSShite

'Frees 25-14. But it was the one's not paid to us. Just the most appalling one-sideness I've seen.' Very well put, the one's not paid were more crucial than the ones the Filth were gifted. I can put up with a lopsided count if that's the way the game goes. But that performance is beyond contemptuous...

Where are the umpire apologists tonight?

Where? What can be said? Absolutely disgraceful. Contemptous treatment of saints going for the ball. Three kicking in danger decisions left and one of them turns into a free goal! Laughable! Eddie may be overseas but he certainly left a war chest! Absolutely ridiculous. Umpire apologists enjoy the s...

As far as Dean, Raph, Brett and Beau go, I'm pretty sure they would all want to stay Saints! They'd show their true colours. :D ... and that's why I love them ...

Re: Dunnell

I idolised Georgie Young as a kid. Still have my primary school jumper with 27 on the back. :D I too would love Dunnell to be a reincarnation of George Young. The guy just oozed class and talent! That 9 against Carmanwood came after 8 against the Doggies I think. Didn't he move to FF as he had the f...

Harsh assessment.
Swans turnovers were deplorable. Heaps of pressure, slippery conditions.

Re: Such a disappointing game and season

Have to agree Plugger.

We looked great in the early part of the last, but constant misses keeps the opposition's heart in it and eats away at the morale of the team in possession. Take the chances. A couple of goals then and we could have maintained momentum.

Re: Umpiring Interstate

I was behind the goals in the stands above the incident. It looked lke a behind off the boot. Late swing got it in for a goal. The swing was away from any defender's hand. He was following it. If touched, it was over the line. In live action time I thought it was untouched and am looking forward to ...

Next to useless?

Well Gwilt was playing alongside Geary ... so perhaps he was next to useless at times.

Well Plugger, you, White Winmar and myself are all the same vintage. (1962) My family came over to Cheltenham from Launceston in 1961. The Tassie contingent in the Saints attracted Dad, even thiogh he had barracked for City South in Tassie and so felt a loyalty to the Swans. He settled in to follow ...

I wonder if it really matters where.

After Saturday they will think they can take us down anywhere. After Saturday night we reckon we can take them down anywhere.

The trouble is they played Geelong at Skilled, and we played North at Etihad.

Time will soon tell who is right.

Solidarity with Bakes - X marks the Spot

Crossed arms to form an X would be a great way of our supporters showing solidarity with Bakes on Sunday.

X to identify with the unfairly treated.

X is also Roman Numeral for 10! :D
