I got mine yesterday, and to be quite honest all I was interested in was the little card with Gresh on it and the scarf.
I got a shirt this year and was fairly surprised that it fits perfect. This isn't always the case for me unfortunately, with online purchases etc

Re: Premiership clock according to the Hun.
Thanks Saynta We have some very astute people involved in recruitment (now), so I would expect that improvement will occur. Yes, there will be plenty of pressure to perform, especially for a couple of young players, but we also have a very astute coach (again) If they can get on a bit of a 'run' lik...

"The 22-degree heat pushed the Saints to their limits" WTF? I heard doogie howser (MD) was lapped. Great get there by the sound of it! Lapped    Around the tan? It was all just a mistake. The Dee's were at the Tan as well, and Dougal slipped in with them. He did think...

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
Isn't this forum for discussion about elite footballers? Usually turns into various combinations of two person verbal stoushes though. Some interesting, some not so... Not really much else going on :) Further, those stoushes can run for years, and with the inclusion of (if not hard to follow :) ) m...

Re: best 22 round 1
Well Carlisle has shown he isn’t one of them Slow as a wet week as a forward, doesn’t like an opponent checking him too closely and doesn’t apply defensive pressure due to his lack of agility. Battle could be moved, although he played better at CHB than he showed forward of the Centre. Not a great ...

Re: best 22 round 1
seems chf is the position no one can settle on. i've seen membrey, roma, battle, king, and even howard put there. membrey at least an experienced player, but not suited to the role. the rest are complete novices. it's a bit of an archilles heal and will be interesting who we go with. on the plus no...

This is why I was a bit bothered about Acres going... Not that he was the be all and end all by any means but he was a different type of player to many of our others... Ross, Dunstan, Hannebery and Steele... Really don’t feel you want more than 2... 3 at an absolute push in the team. All not overly...

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
As a physiotherapist, I can say bulging discs can vary from causing no problem at all to more serious issues. I'd be more interested if they mean a herniation or a sequestration of the disc and whether it caused canal stenosis or nerve impingement. He required surgery so it must have been quite ser...

Re: BJ ranks saints midfield.
Some of those midfielders at the druggies are a little difficult to get a grasp of for mine. In a head to head battle, we'd get roughly the same numbers of deep entries, where generally they have been as efficient at kicking goals as us i.e. shyte. Where they can be really good though, is the sustai...

Re: Marshall over the moon
King is being way overrated for guy that hasn't debuted yet. Remarkably some feel he's already become automatic selection. Hi SK, expectations might be a little high yes, but the bloke was taken at #4 so rated pretty high (actually by our club, not just SS). The bloke he was going to have to compet...

Re: Marshall over the moon
Old school Saints thinking. I don't care if you were there when Max was conceived. If Max get's a game purely because he's remotely fit and the club are paranoid he'll request a trade then he will be the genesis for this current rebuild failing. Let's hope he earns his spot by pushing a player out ...

Re: 1 to 4 year players first training run
The one thing I took from that was Long to play down back? Love the message he gave the boys though. It’s exactly what we have needed. The young ones to push the seniors out of their spot. Would love to see Sandy pushing up the ladder in the VFL, with that flowing over to the AFL. I had a bit of a ...

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
Does anyone know what the status is regarding his recovery. Is he ready to join in full training? He's been training as normal with the rest of the 1st to 4th year players. It will still be a very difficult task to make the senior side for young Jack. This is great news, and I hope that his future ...

Edit the headline. His name is David Lee Rath I met a teenager called David Lee last year. I asked him if anyone ever called him David Lee Roth. He just gave me that blank stare like he'd never even heard the name. I guess we move in different circles. Regarding best appointment ever, I reckon Alla...

Re: Questions re the existing players
Hmm?... Lonie gets a tough deal on here... for whatever reason? Plays the worst position on the ground to be consistent. Plays extremely well, still can’t get any credit. Will guarantee you this If not injured in R1 he will play seniors. In his second year he couldn't hold a tackle, bounced off blo...

Re: Three of Jon Ralph's burning questions
The Steven and Kelly comparison is bizarre. Kelly has achieved SFA compared to Steven. Has Steven ever had a year as good as Kelly’s? I honestly get the feeling that no one at Geelong will be asking the person next to them "Where's this bloke been all these years?" Kelly at WC could also ...

If you take it that Jack Steven wanted to leave from some stage in 2018? (I can't understand why several others didn't also want to leave??) And, if you also take it that Josh Bruce was also leaving from some stage in late 2019 (writing on the wall re M. King drafting, and subsequent B. King discuss...
