Re: Rookie draft selections

I think there are a lot of positions up for grabs so it'll be pretty interesting who gets the first nod If Saad puts in a good pre-season and shows what he had in is his 1st season where do you put Templeton and Billings? Does Billings start going through the middle? If Bruce plays forward where do...

Re: We need to embrace New Zealand.

I honestly believe that New Zealand has the capacity to make the St Kilda FC a power house in the AFL. If done correctly I expect 10, 000 kiwi based members within the next 10 years and a huge flow on effect in Australia. ie, every kiwi that emigrates to Australia will automatically follow the Sain...

Re: Exciting highlights

The positive with Saad is that the work rate, skills and tackle technique are there What he needs to do is find a way to either win more ball or find a way to convert 10 touches a game into 3 goals He needs to learn to run at the ball in straight lines, drop the fancy sh*t from his game and work on...

Re: WHO WILL WE TAKE ON WEDNESDAY?

We could delist another player (Lee), which is unfortunately unlikely, so maybe it's just 4 rookies. Member was slated in as our PSD pick until we were able to pick him up as a delisted FA I think people will be pleasantly surprised by Lee in time. He can play, don't worry about that. He has good h...

Saad still had a lot to learn. He really needed to be developing at VFL level for the last 18 months, rather than being suspended.

Has anyone considered that our and other recruiters have seen a lot more of McCartin than his highlights reel?

Before the Judd, Hodge & Ball draft, didn't West Coast circulate a rumor that Judd's shoulders were stuffed? Is the same happening again?

Re: Trout's war room- article

Good on them to try and work out the best methods in an effort to make the best selections. I reckon Riewoldt would have had a clean room as a child but on the other hand Plugger probably had pie and chiko roll wrappers scattered around his room. Riewoldt was a leader though but Plugger was probabl...

I think its an excellent idea. Smart enough to steal a Premiership from us, we'd have rocks in our head not to consider the idea. Unless he was too expensive.

Re: Stephen Milne's lawyers to decide on rape trial abandonm

I haven't got a problem with Lenny and Roo being there. Even if a mate HAS done the wrong thing that doesn't mean he's no longer a mate. Surely in a mature world even potential sponsors can understand that. Especially as this happened 10 years ago and Milne no longer plays at the club. From what I ...

They can have it. I would much rather sell home games to tassie if thats what we re gonna do. If carlton get their own home game in nz and expect us to be their away team , they can stick it. If we agreed to do that i would be writing to the club in disgust. The nz move is purely money based , so i...

Sheer madness if we do it. Stanley has just finally emerged! The only reason you would do it, was if you knew you were getting someone like Boyd or Cameron from GWS. Otherwise its madness, a trade we may rue in the future.

Dear oh me, to think that at times over the last few years I worried about our club. What a rabble the Bulldogs are, at least we know how to get to the big dance. I am also confident we have learned where we were deficient in our quest and have some idea about what it takes to win a premiership. The...

Re: Milera?

I personally think we should keep him, if he wants to stay. I think that is certainly a better option than drafting Saad. Milera did not get many games this year, but in the games he played he showed signs that he had worked on his hardness at the footy. I think he is still potentially a very handy ...
