You think BJ can kick ... wait until you see Dempster. Just as good. Boy, doesnt he have a beauty! One of the best long kicks ive ever seen. Could be used to take longer kickouts if needed. How are his close skills (handballing, short passes, etc)? up too scratch? don't you mean malceski never thou...

I think Judd would be a huge gamble at a ridiculous price. He is a great player but his biggest asset is pace , and pace is what is affected by whatever injury he has. We don't know if he will ever regain that pace. He does not have the step of a ablett or harvey or dal. So really I hope he does get...

the reason that the free kick count was against sydney and roos was simply because they were second to the ball all game and then when they got the ball getting tackled and pressured if a side is getting smashed you would expect a lop sided free kick count so I guess you were at the Geelong Kangaro...

are you guys for real the roos get flogged, emabarrassed and humiliated and yet it is the umpires and an afl conspiracy if you watch the game again you will see that in reality the roos were worse than appalling their midfield were non existent, harvey , wells , etc could not get a kick their forwar...

as a person of a certain vintage I have a few friends who like saints supporters have suffered long enough I dreaded in 97 that we were going to play them in the gf, and stress the friendships, but for the leigh colbert mark we should have, anyway thats another story I hope they win and win easily t...

talk of him returning to victoria
surely would be on the top of the shopping list, only 25yo, is very fit, can run , can mark, can tap and can kick goals

]
Anyone know if the young girl in the crowd is a relation to Frase, a family friend or just a random fan? No matter who she is, it was a pretty sweet gesture by the big guy. It was the kinda thing a sporting legend like Babe Ruth would have done.
see above, a random but dedicated #9...

he said on the abc after the game that the girl who got the jumper had held up a banner for him for years I think it is one of the best things I have seen on afl ground, and summed him up perfectly Will miss his unique brilliance, i am sure he played many many games with painkillers, stretching back...

DELIST Milne He's also not good with the ball and he can't tackle to save himself. do you actually watch the games did you not see his possible match saving tackle in the centre of the ground on saturday and then the kick to fraser his goal assists this year have been excellent as I keep saying on ...

I meant over the entire season Terry; 4-7 from the first 11 is poor. agreed no worries I guess the forum has been alot of doom and gloom this last week (with some justification) the reality of the last 11 weeks is that we have really only just been beaten in all 3 loses, as disappointing as they ha...

firstly as someone said before if we win more games than 8 other teams then of course we deserve to be there I think it was mentioned during the call on friday night, that since the mid season break, if there was a ladder just on those games we would be coming third, that probably changed with frida...

thank goodness someone else mentioned paragraphs, my eyes went all watery wading through that lot. mate I think you need to have a bex and a good lie down. if you want to talk conspiracy, look no further than the draw where easily the most favoured teams are your own victorian carl, coll and ess. go...

All this stuff starts to get a bit repetitive. Thommo and M Clarke are going anyway. From the way he played on Friday, Voss should probably go too. We will also probably be waving goodbye to Raymond and probably at least two out of Sweeney, Gwilt, Brooks, Ferguson and McQualter. We probably won't b...

question re harvey
not sure how his fitness is going and of course whether he will play on in '08 so here's an idea for a bet each way regardless of fitness name harvey as an emergency for this week. if adelaide win on friday night (god forbid), then bring Harvey in on saturday just in case it is to be his final game ...

turning point
i felt was the loss of 43. he was killing fletcher up till then and we were on top in the midfield after that we were playing with a limited midfield but also with 3 and 14 struggling our interchange was stuffed you can't win when your rotations go this also meant limited relief for 27 who was just ...
