The only positive I can draw from today's game was that I elected not to go, and therefore did not have to sit through the garbage we dished up, yet again, live.

For the love of God, when are we going to do the glaringly obvious as a club, and pull the plug on the Cho???

I agree. 'Shanghai Sunday' could possibly have some positives....IF the club assesses our realistic chances of making the 8 and considering all the injuries to key players, also realistically assesses our chances of competing in finals even if we get there.

1. We are only a very slim chance of sneaking in to the top 8, AND therefore the footy department should conclude (or at least need to be persuaded by the CEO and the board) that it's wiser to start planning for 2020 and beyond. Give all younger blokes more opportunities and more seniors experience.

2. We are one step closer to the day that a decision is made on the future head coach

We have 5 wins and a percentage of 85.6
We can't kick more than 10 goals a game.
We are one game and 25 percent behind 8th.
We've beaten GC by a point, Essendon, Melbourne, Hawthorn, and Carlton.

We need to win 13 games with our percentage. That means 8 out the next 11.
We are still to play Geelong, Richmond, Brisbane, and Adelaide. We won't win any of those. Even if we win all of our other games, it's not enough.
If we don't beat GC next week, it's over. And I don't see us doing that in Townsville. Especially with the current set-up.

Our best bet is to do a North and swap coaches to make the senior assistant the senior coach. That's Brett Ratten, who had a pretty good record with Carlton and was involved in three flags at Hawthorn.

We need to make this change and make it now. So we have the bye round to settle things down.

We are in fact two games out of the 8 because of our poor percentage. We have a poor percentage because we don't score and we don't score because of this excuse of a game plan we have.
I agree, if King is to play this year, it can't be with this game plan or coach.
