What Shyts me is....

the bulldogs have the timing perfect. They snuck one in before the juggernaut GWS are ready. Whereas the Saints window will be right smack bang in the middle of it.

Absolutely

However, we've got to make one first

Bulldogs are not old

Melbourne will also contend, Adelaide and a plethora of other contenders

Is it a given we play a gf??

It's not a given but I bet you if we do it will be against GWS.

And if we do, we will have to play with the same spirit the Bulldogs played with today - and not worry about concessions and superstars that other teams have access to. We have had chances to win flags before and couldn't seal the deal. The next time we make it, we need to nail our chances.
Well played Footscray. Well coached Bevo.

No - they were rank outsiders against the Giants last week on their dung heap - but they took their chances and beat them fair and square. The next time we challenge we need to believe in ourselves and take our chances.

Look who we played in our grannies.

No easy beats.

Today Sydney we're woeful. So many missing players.

Johanissen is a good player but he is no Lenny or BJ

Johanassen is the type of player we need through our midfield. Very quick and sharp. Lenny and BJ were tough as nails midfielders. We've got enough of them in Ross, Dunstan and Armo

No GF sides are ordinary

Kennedy, Jack, Parker, Hannebury, Buddy, Rampe tore us a new one a couple of months back
They are a mile in front of us

Adelaide without Riccutio and Modra is as good a chance as we'll get

We had a few missing as well.

Spider, Lazar and Joel Smith.

First two rooted our game plan and structure.

&

8 times Leading Goalkicking & 2 times Coleman medallist though is it?

No. They were of that ability.

And were in their absolute prime

Both were AA that year

Lets not kid ourselves, we were a few players short in our window.
Riewoldt, Goddard, Ball, Dal Santo, Gram, Hayes, Fisher etc needed a couple more names.

But there was not enough room for those couple of names because a few too many players were offered and took cream instead of milk.
Putting together a premiership team requires financial sacrifice not gluttony.

Nothing to do with a coach who froze on the big stage?

Everything fell into place for the Dogs. It seriously makes me want to vomit in my mouth.

Extra week - Should have been out week 1. Don't underestimate the impact. (No side has ever won from 7th. EVER) Should be going to the draft with pick 12.
Played - The biggest downhill skiers ever seen in the comp.
Played - An old, slow, tired and ready to fall off a cliff ex champ.
Played - A toddler with its head in the spot lights who were cruelled by suspension and injury.
Played - A GF where the best player in the land was injured in the first minute and one of the best on ballers in the game went down 1 minute into the last quarter when the game was on the line.
Umpires - 17 to 4 at one stage. Outrageous at best. Should be an inquiry.

WHERE WAS OUR LUCK?????????????????????????? I CANT COPE.

There were a few times when I felt like booing an umpires decision or lack there of.
But I could not be certain that the umpire or infringing player did not identify as indigenous.
Now I identify as being non-indigenous.
Consequently I remained silent lest I be ejected for racism.
But now that I am safe from that, let me say to the umpires "BOO".

Hanneberry (was it?) injured his knee when a bulldog dived on the ball. Umps never thought about awarding a free, and it's happened to Doggies in all their finals where they dive on the ball and don't get penalised.

Hannebery injured, Parker injured, Jack massive Q1 head knock, Buddy ankle... yes all of those guys tore us a new one when they were fully fit....Dogs got lucky and pinched one when all the stars/umpires aligned.

Happened to the swans three times. Once even when the doggies got the free and a 50 metre penalty . Even the Victorian biased talking heads were surprised.

f****** terrible biased umpiring.
