Worth the admission money!
One piece of action I was lucky enough to witness yesterday was the incredible spoil by Jarryn Geary! What a fantastic effort, and worth the (extra) admission money I paid.

It probably saved us the game.
Gears took number of clutch marks during the game, several courageous acts and some brilliant turnover tackles.
He played like the captain in waiting.

His effort is consistently THE BEST in the team.
If he could kick he would be a superstar. I don't know if can influence games enough to be captain but maybe co-captain with roo in 2017 and Steven in 2018.

Sometimes it's about what a leader can bring out of those they lead.
He has that, the players will verify that.
It's not always about being the best player.

Agree but turning the ball over off half back by foot in big games as a captain can be demoralising for the players and supporters.

He's a gutsy and very serviceable player. All those people calling for him to be dropped earlier in the season have egg on their faces now.
