Wish there was a grandfather rule
The doc's 16 year old grandson made his debut with Latrobe seniors at the weekend.

Even KB says there should be a grandfather rule.

He said the opportunity to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps “felt pretty special” and he would be looking back on the advice Baldock gave him as a junior. “The main bit of advice I remember from him is to keep your feet,” he said.
“That’s the main thing he always told me
“I was always going to play for Latrobe but knowing Pop played there, it has extra meaning.
“It feels pretty special.”

Given the new father son rules, I can't see why the AFL can't bring in the grandfather rule

We have had a lot more luck with the quality of grandsons than sons.
