More Delisting to come

Hopefully haven't missed anything. As of the 23rd of October we have so far had 3 Retire, 2 Delisted and 2 Traded out.
We have Traded 2 in.
If we are to get Longer for Pick 25. Promote Curren from the Rookie list. Pick up Jolly and Bruce and Draft players with 3, 18 and 19, we will need to delist at least another 2 players.
So who goes?
Maybe we are saved one delisting if Saad is suspended.

Maister(not sure when his contract ends)
Dennis-lane( I think he is still contracted next year)
Dunnell( that would be harsh)

Honestly I don't think we should have too much trouble finding players to de-list. De-listing any 2 of the following will have little effect on our performance short-term or long-term:

Dunnell

Jones

think you will find that most of the players mentioned have contracts for next year. The only exceptions would be dunnell and possibly saad if he is suspended which would be very unfortunate. Dennis lane only came to us last year so would think that he had a 2 year contract,
And jones finished 8th in our best and fairest so I cannot understand how so many think he is not up to afl standard

don't think Dunell will be going anywhere. there is quite a bit of potential there and will be a useful utility for the future. he's built up quite considerably too, and after this next preseason he will have no excuses for 2014.

Maister, Gwilt, and Jones are all useful players. Maister is critical as a big forward who works hard and doesn't mind the physical punishment. Gwilt is a very good player who has had to play on guys 10cm taller and 10kg heavier than him in recent times, while Jones is a hard working gut runner who is the only genuine tagger in our team. To delist any of those players would be foolish.

Some of the stuff you come up with is amazing. Im guessing they do exactly the weights they are asked to do. I know you keep going on about size but some players just cant get bigger. These players have had at least 2 or 3 fitness coaches and they are still built like that because that is obviously their buld. Doesnt mean they arent 5 times stronger than when they started and maybe even stronger than some you think look pretty because they are bigger. Yep there morons because they dont look like you want them to look. Seriously.
And to those saying maister may go well he signed a 2 year contract just before the end of the season so I doubt the list management man is that stupid.

Matthew Lappin........remember him? Kade Simpson is the same build as Dunell. Some guys are just like that, no matter how much time they spend in the gym. I know from personal experience. Kade Simpson is Hercules compared to me.

We will only need to delist 1 -7 off the list , 2 new in Savage and Delaney, hopefully Bruce and Longer , leaving 3 places for draft picks 3,18,19. We need one more to upgrade Curren

Fringe players' contracts shouldn't be an issue - I don't see how we could possibly be paying anywhere near the max salary cap so paying out 80-100k for a delistee or two wouldn't be a big deal. Milera isn't going to make it but I doubt he'll get chopped after getting re-signed last year, though I'm hopeful that we won't waste a senior spot on TDL any more and we should at least demote Saad until his (almost certain) suspension is done
