Has he resigned yet? Only a matter of time. Alas, for most coaches, it's all in the timing. Scott is going to preside over a continued downward decline, not all to do with his abilities. But he does like duds.

That guy who wears number #3 probably tracking nicely in our B&F this year...maybe even a brownlow vote or two.

Duds. TDL. Maister/Wilkes. Keep playing those who don't perform to VFL standard.
Dropped CJ last year but now wants to keep playing underperforming guys, you've changed, Watters.

Fair dinkum. Did you guys bagging him actually watch and listen? He articulated very clearly what's going on with the younger guys. And he didn't ask for supporters to be patient. He said they're not at all wanting to be patient.
He impresses me. We're re-building. We're going to lose games.

Some of Watters selections are confusing and frustrate me a little but I guess that's just everyone saving different views. With the focus on youth, I'm not sure why we keep persisting in CJ, Ray, Maister, TDL as shuffle in shuffle out players. I would have thought these guys fit into 'solid at best' and there age profile and upside are pretty limited IMO. Especially when there are new younger recruits that seem to be needing serious game time and xtended exposure to afl level pressure...namely dunell, lee, hickey, curren, Murdoch, Siposs (unless he is injured or has serious attitude issues, why the hell do they keep stuffing him around! You only have to look at goddards development for the first 3-4 yrs post draft too see how quality kpp take to settle and mature) I want to have som faith in watters, but his chopping and changing of personnel sometimes just seem completely contradictory, as do his media comments, rds 1-2 were challenging, post rd 2 were rebuilding... Wait did I ever say we're rebuilding. I'm thinking this bloke is drowning in the pressures of the being an afl head coach. I hope he can improve his own form for the clubs sake and the sake of a lot of young players development on the line.
