Buddy might be injured...from Cats game..fractured tibia?

Post: # 1133934Post saintsRrising »

And we may be playing the Hawks net week...

Just hyper-extended his knee.

Could be anything...or nothing.

EDIT..latest news was that they are investigating for acl...or a fractured tibia..

Both indicate a fair amount of pain is present.

You dont wish injuries on players but that would help us if we get through

It didnt look to good, seemed to be in a bit of pain.

Beat Sydney, you'd fancy your chances against a Hawks outfit minus Buddy.

Looks very injured! I hate the scumbag Hawks as much as Collingwood! Couldn't be happier! Bye bye Hawks!

Possible fractured tibia according to Richo -- Hawks could be fragile if we beat Swans

He couldn't stand up after hitting the turf; he had to be helped off the ground. I'm 99% sure he has done his knee or worse.

Possibler ACL or fracture tibia. Would've been happy if he missed a few weeks but if its an ACL all the best to him.

Fix up the Swans tomorrow and we're a blink away of making another Prelim! Cards right, get the group through uninjured, and we're a shot! Adelaide Crows 1997!

Also with their ruckman Max Bailey being subbed off due to a Calf complaint.

Hale who's being playing up forward most of the year now has to ruck.

That sucks.

2 acl's in one night, happened already this year.

I don't wish season injuries on anyone.

Certainly makes the winner of tomorrow nights game faced with an easier proposition, though Hawks were so Buddy concious they may be less predictable.

I did both ACLs when playing, I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.

Not to mention the rehab...

The worst bit about doing an ACL at this time of year means you also miss nearly all of next year too…

Both Buddy & Menzel were tearing it up before they went down…

My cousin had complications with his acl reco and missed a promising soccer career, not something you want to see anyone get but as with Lenny it is a marathon season, evens us up a little.

Gee was listening to SEN before the game and they were supposing on the headlines for tomorrow. I think it was Robbo who said the headline will be Buddy. Maybe Robbo is the oracle  :?

Looked like knee to me... looks like PCL? Don't think he did his acl.

Breaking your acl hurts for about 5 minutes or less, then you feel ok. Loud "click" sound as well, still got 9 months to go, hrmm.

whoever wins tomorrow night gets an 'easier' path to the prelim.

First lets just beat the swans.
Secondly don't discount the hawks they have had an even spread all through the year and have already overcome and moved on from big injuries to big players. With them struggling to find a tall forward that will mess with our structure aswell. Which could be dangerous for is aswell.

True but I'd still back the Hawks against us. They have some depth.

Remember how well we coped last year without an in form Roo?
