Walker's mark is an absolute ripper, its on the AFL website on the right.

I know its the wrong board but I think as anyone who loves a flying mark, this is up there with some of Winmar's speccies.

Relevant cos Carltons win puts us back in the eight :-)

Walkers mark was magnificent. Not a hint of hands on shoulders or back, just pure timing and spring..and hung on his shoulders for ages

How good was the hang time.
Could of been one of the best ever if the ball was up a bit over his head.

Reminded me a little bit of Trevor Barkers at Windy Hill in 1978

One of the best marks I've seen. Hang time was insane.

A pretty good mark.

Will have to compare with Nattawhatsit's grab.

Chest mark. Could've landed on his feet but chose not to so it looked spectacular.
I hate Carlton.

Hands did not even slightly touch any part of his body. Lack of knowledge is actually amazing. Dont think a lawyer cxould get you off that stupid comment.

Yeah top mark. but so he should've - he has a leap on him and it was set up nicely.

Bj's from GF1 is much better given the occaison. Its sad that it'll always be 'tainted' by the events of the next week.

But i can't help myself watching it every few weeks - the roar of the crowd is spine-tingling.
There is a great Youtube clip of it filmed from the pocket behind, by a Saints fan in the crowd - truly one of the great moments in AFL history.

Well Saints did Blues a favour last week by beating WCE, it's only fair they returned the favour

That was some hanger, agree with the OP.

To think he was on the trade table.

Great grab but the result of the game was even better!!
And the narrow loss by Freo. Had a certain karma about it also Cheating barstidos tried to con the umps that their shot after the siren was a winner when it hit the post...keeps them only 2 points ahead of us

Still baffles me how the f...k we managed to not win after that....will continue to be a chip on my shoulder until we managed to snag one eventually....

Your "funny, spine tingling, angry" description pretty much sums it up....

The problem was there was still about 7 minutes left on the clock. We needed to get another goal immediately and it would've been enough and possibly opened up the floodgates!!!

There's only one good thing about the draw's place in history - while what happened the next week was a debacle, it wouldn't have occurred WITHOUT the draw. Filth fans can celebrate their flag but it will always be a sticking point no matter how much they will scoff.

I'll bet none of them would watch the draw dvd, would they? Too close to home...

He just made a spectacle of himself... a regrettable public display.

He should stick to walking.
