Luke Ball = Attention Seeker

Post: # 991151Post Finna »

I find it amusing that there is so much talk about Luke Ball.

In a press conference - Nick Maxwell went on about how great Luke Ball is and said 'This week should be about Luke Ball'.......

Is he f****** serious? If he is that is great for us.

He's telling everyone to talk about Luke Ball. Then we see Luke talking about his hammy.

I am convinced that this guy just loves the attention.

Last year it was all about Luke ball being in and out of the side and how he didnt get a 'fair go' in the Grand Final.

This year its about his hammy.... lol

The best part about this is that we slip under the radar and the media just keeps writing Magpies crap.

Good on you Luke - Keep going mate - May Your Selfishness Benefit The Saints this Time around.

You Are Where You Belong.....

I find it amusing that Luke wished to just stay in the back ground, not make a fuss about his club change, just 'play his game'

BUT his captain and his coach insist on making it ' all about Luke'
their sniping at the Saints has continued all year and Maxwell again referred to as above- it all being about Ball, after his bad ' off season' and disspointing 09 etc etc etc..

if it's such a great team........ why is ti all on Ball- who has ' Now joined the leadership group"

This bagging of Ball for no real reason needs to stop.
It's not what we are about as supporters, and we need to be better than this.

Happy to have no post count. I was being sarcastic. Totally agree with you. The whinging and bagging on here makes me think I actually got on the pies site by mistake.

So one can assume you are relaxed and comfy that mercenary will line up against us next week.

That's your opinion.

Good for you.

Given others clearly don't share your opinion - in fact they seem diametrically opposed - perhaps you're not the best person to be espousing what is and isn't appropriate for the collective 'we'?

Just a thought...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Lost all respect for Ball when he couldn't cop the simple truth that we were paying him too much.

A better man would have taken it on the chin, taken the new contract we offered him, dug in and justified his place. Instead, he sooked and jumped ship.

This week is not all about Luke Ball. It is about which team holds its nerve.

I'm backing us.

Well thoughted!

This a Saints Fan site. Why do some expect that everyone here should behave according to their view of neutrality and open-mindedness.

Screw luke ball and his dirty filthy corrupt club! :P

GO SAINTS! :D

*Allegedly.

This is a Deadly Serious OP.

BTW I am not 'bagging' LB - I am simply sharing a few observations and throwing in a bit of Passion because I am Bloody Pumped about the fact that we're in our second consecutive Grand Final.

No need for the Political Correctness Police to get offended

GO SAINTERS!

Relax. I was just trying to make the point that we need to be better as supporters than to just bag a player of another team for no reason.

Luke Ball attention seeking? I haven't seen any of this. If anything it is the other people around the club doing it. Maxwell, Malthouse, ect.

If you were being paid a large amount of money at your workplace, but then all of a sudden you were offered a lot less from here on in, and another workplace offered you the same job for a lot more money, would you leave?

That's not all there is to it, things such as loyalty are always taken into account.
But I can't really blame Luke for losing faith in the club after they lost faith in him.

If I knew in my heart that I wasn't earning my enormous pay check (as Ball must have) ... and I felt that I owed them for overpaying me for so long (as Ball should have) I would stay put.

But that's just me. I'm loyal, have a conscience and am honest with myself. I'm also not a quitter.

But I can't speak for a traitor.

F*** Luke ball, hope his hammy has lodged in his arse and he is out for a year. Anyone who harbours sympathy towards that money hungry whore is no true supporter and you may as well go revel with the filth.

Because I choose to support our own players rather than wish ill upon other team's players I am not a true supporter and should go and barrack for the Filth?

Wow.
