MCC Grand Final Ballott - how did you go?

Post: # 808207Post saintspremiers »

Supposedly those who have been successful have had there $25 debited to their account......my group has dipped out it seems.

Might have to unpack the 3 man tent and bang a few pegs into the concrete outside the members entrance this year!

How has anyone else gone??

You're confused, MCC = Melbourne Cricket Club members - got nothing
to do with St Kilda FC Social Club members, seperate and independant allocation.

Yep, i'm in. pretty happy about it too. I'm coming over from WA for the prelims and GF so it's nice to know i'll have a seat at the game that matters.

now i just need the mighty Sainters to do the right thing... come on boys!

WHOOPEY They took the $5 ballot fee from my bank account on 17 August and $20 for the reserved seat on 26 August.

I was there in 1966 and I will be there in 2009.

PS Anyone thinking of tampering with my mail should know I am prepared to hire Dane Swan to admonish them.

Bad luck saintspremiers.
You will be successful when the Saints go back to back.

There are still good seats to be had if you and your mates take your tent, plenty of grub, drink and a portable toilet.

It will be worth it.
Once you get your seat ticket you can grab a passout, rush home, get some real sleep and return in time for the first bounce like I did last year.

Had the $5 + $20 charges to the credit card, so assume I've got a reserved seat.

Nothing yet on the e-mail.

Is this todo with a text message last night?

I applied for the ballot and got a text saying "St Kilda FC would like to confirm that your application for September Saint has been successfull."

Also the $125 has been debited from my card. I thought this just made you eligible to enter the ballot after the amount of social club tickets were decided.

Did anyone who applied for the September Saints get a text saying they were unsuccessfull? If so :)

From what I can tell they have not drawn the ballot yet. You should only have gotten confirmation that you are in it.

I must admit that the emails, letters and website are a little bit vague (poorly written) and I think a lot of people (including myself) will be ringing up to check it out tomorrow.

This thread is a little misleading...possibly...

OK..

THIS THREAD IS ONLY OF INTEREST TO MCC FULL MEMBERS

IT IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ALLOCATION OF GF TICKETS TO ST KILDA!!!!!!!!!

Unless you are a MCC Full member..nothing to see here...and nothing to panic about!!

I didn't nominate.

Happy to do so when we are not playing.
But if the Saints are playing - and we will be, then I am prepared to get there at whatever time to get a really good seat.
