there is this long held believe that people need to have variety in their life........

I wonder if they would notice the earpiece to the radio?

My partner has done that at weddings before and I found his radio under his pillow this morning after he had been listening to the end of the cricket!!

My dad (a Swans supporter) was actually plugged into his headphones all through my brother's engagement party. I joined the rest of the family making all the expected tutt tutting noises, but as it was a Swannies / Saints game I made a point of staying close and getting updates all night!
BTW: we won!

Yeah, I did the same thing at my mate's engagement party. It was on the night we played the Lions at Docklands. Yeah, THAT game, one of our greatest wins and I wasn't there - still dirty on that, but anyway ...
I had the earpiece in during the speeches and when Aussie kicked THAT point - yes it was a point, just look at the scores - I jumped up and yelled. Ditto for TS40's goal, and then I went nuts when the siren went. People didn't know what was going on. My mate, the groom-to-be, had to explain.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.
