not the piece I find surprising,
But they do include the whole last 2-3 minutes of the game vs brisbane Troy Goal and Aussie point

Got mine today. Just had a squiz at the DVD - pretty good I reckon. Some great memories going back a bit. Particularly of the magnificent Trevor Barker, Neil Elvis Winmar, Plugger, the Doc, an Cowboy. Also showed the last few mins of the epic match against the Brions at the Dome - yep, the Schwarta game.

No DVD, and I won't be getting it - only signed up in Feb.

I figured someone could burn one off for me otr it'd end up on YouTube anyway.

I have my membership now, but missed the cut off date for the DVD. I think they should start selling it at games and at the Saints shop for around $30. That way the members won't feel dudded by getting an item that was supposed to be "now only! your last chance to get it!" and we can make a few quid on sales.

I'd buy it over "the streak" dvd set, and our preseason cup wins '96 and '04 for sure.

It's good Otiman BUT not that good ! it is only highlights, But nice to see it all put together.
I'm guessing by very soon you will have worked out what all the highlights are,.

the player was to me the surprise as wasn't a household name- at the time of him being a part of the team.
the action presented was a long kick for goal from the centre

Well Bratty, I reckon it might have been the little clip of that big ruckman who kicked the pill about 1000 yards for a goal down at Moorabbin one sunny afternoon in the 80's.

can't remember the ground will have to check - do remember it was to left of screen- But didn't think it was a 'ruckman'

Well there were a few "great goals" highlights - so maybe you're referring to BJ's big roost against the shockers in 2006?? or was it a certain ex-coach who kicked a monster goal on the run I think it was the G' back in the late 70's?? His name actually escapes me at present!!

got mine today and it was great but.....

I would have rathered it be more a members only special in the sense of perhaps some interviews with current players talking about their fav games, insights into certain times in the past etc. What we got was more a cut and paste addition of former dvd's and some highlights from last season.

Apart from that I must say the membership kit is fantastic, great social club key ring, good simple bumper sticker and a nice simple card

it was the jeff fehrig goal at moorabbin im suprised that it stands out to you because it is always the first great goal in any st kilda dvd.

i thought the dvd wasa carbon copy of the st kilda wall to wall dvd but i loved the bit against the lions at the end loved the roar of the crowd
