Not surprised Coffield was dropped I thought he had a shocker against WCE.

I love the INs, Sinclair in current form is a big loss. I thought Clavarino was one of our better tall defenders & to be honest, Coffield was not exposed by a forward. He actually went to Darling after Wilkie was lit up.

I must sound like a warn out record but how on earth does Kent get a game. I shudder every time he's near the play, let alone in the play.

How do you lot feel, without not bagging players for kicks (sorry, lack of kicks) that Bytel is still out while Kent and perhaps even Long keep getting picked?

I bet Kent and Ling will kick a bag for saying this..

Go gettem Saints..

Tell u what tho, we got some underdone flesh in there too!

How is Clark going? And Highmore’s hands are his weapon and one will be wrapped in a glove!

And they are getting a couple of bug shots back.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Coffield clearly on the outer

No Sinclair, Paton, Geary,

Still can’t get in the back 7

And Connolly is

What's most interesting is the coaches' faith in Connolly. They obviously like what they see, and I have to say I'm glad they see it. Coffield will probably be the sub. He's got some thinking to do. He needs to be more decisive and proactive in the way he plays.

Connolly is pretty lucky IMO

Wasn’t great vs WC

Neither was Byrnes

But I suppose giving the exposure might be beneficial

I’d have gone Coffield over Connolly

Higgins has been our best small forward by a mile. He's a much better player than Long

Coffield played on Waterman for 90% of the game and got towelled up. Waterman had 4 shots on goal, 12 marks and 16 disposals. He did get caught on Darling in one contest I remember and lost that aswell.

Connolly will go back to the HBF to give us the rebound we will lose with Sinclair out and I guess either Coffield or Bytel will be sub.

Honestly, Howard & Wilkie's forwards beat them last week (was costly) yet Clavarino & Coffield got dropped. Pays to be on good pay & the right side of the coach, I guess.

Don’t love this…

Disappointed that Clavarino misses out again. All of his games have been alright and I get that Highmore is back and has been playing well but give the kid a shot. Tom could wait another week and will definitely be on the list next season.

Kent remains a mystery… especially with Higgins back and Butler clearly holding his spot. Now we get to the three small forward recipe which has been an absolute disaster all season.
Hate to see Bytel miss for him even if his form hasn’t been flash

I really want to like Ratten but sometimes it’s a complete mystery as to where his head is at. When it comes to his forward set up he just loves the the 3-medium to small types and sees some type of gold there that is evident only to him

I don’t mind that either

Connolly has had a good run and shown a bit. If he was dropped he’ll be back.
Coffield we need to figure out what to do with

Agree. Want to like Ratten but…..
WTF do they see in Kent? Would much rather a young bloke getting a game. Kent is a known quantity. Surely they don’t keep him on at the end of the year. And if not, why play him when someone else old be getting experience.

Concur re Kent that’s just shyte thinking I’m afraid
I thought Clavarino looked ok , so maybe it’s cause Blues lack talls?
I’d rather see Sharman play than Kent he’s finished

Why is Bytel out?
I have a theory.
One of Billings Ross or Dunstan will leave.
Dunstan’s currency gone up they keep playing him to get a compensation end of year.
Bytel will play next year.
The dynamics between Dunstan/ manager and the coaching staff don’t look overly healthy.
