Is the AFLPA at 'war' with St Kilda FC?

For months now we've had various officials of the AFLPA publicly taking 'pot shots' at our Club over various issues.

First there was the Luke Ball issue, where they publicly called for rules to be changed to allow players to go to Clubs of their choice. They were very public in their 'moral outrage' that Ball was having difficulty getting to his desired destination, adn blaming us for not acceding to his wishes.

Then there is the ongoing saga of Andrew Lovett, where the AFLPA has put money into 'defending his rights' before the Grievance Tribunal and have been happy to make statements supporting Lovett's arguments.
They publicly pronounce that Lovett is a player and that the AFLPA must support its members. What about the 40+ other players at St Kilda whom the AFLPA are trying to 'force' Lovett back onto?
Don't the AFLPA have an obligation to support them?

Now today I hear Matt Finnis (AFLPA President) on the radio supporting Mick Malthouse's press conference statement and imploring the wider football world 'not to be too harsh' on Mick for 'getting it wrong'!

Where is their support of Stephen Milne?
He's the player (and their paid up member) that's been verbally attacked by Malthouse and Licuria.
Where's their outrage at his 'rights'.

Saints players should be reconsidering their membership with the AFLPA ... if they haven't already.

Malthouse has been shown by his own admission to be a liar.

He could have said something along the lines of " there was some to and fro between players and officials ... bu ti want to focus on our inaccuracy etc etc
He did not do that he infatically looked down the cameras and said let me set this straight i was talking to our players.

Politicians get away with doing this , sports people do not - is that fair maybe not but he has been around long enough to know this.

I reckon as a whole the AFL industry is scared sh1tless of Malthouse.

Finnis should leave the welfare of coaches to the Coaches Association.

Apparently the AFLPA will only defend certain type of players who have been charged with rape.

If you are a player and you were accused but never charged with rape, and then gets slandered by being called a "f##king rapist" by a coach for all to see, the AFLPA does SFA.

IMO he did go outside his jurisdiction defending Malthouse, but I didn't hear the interview so I don't know what context that comment was made in.

But regarding him defending Lovett, there has to be some protocols in place regarding clubs sacking players. It may be justified re Lovett, but other clubs will use the process in less justifiable situations.

He is representing all his members in seeking a process, and I think all intelligent players will appreciate that.

How much are you earning being a spy for teh AFL?

Do you earn extra for each post you make criticizing anybody who is critical of anything about the AFL (or with the letters AFL contained within their name)?

Why don't you stop looking over your shoulder for criticism of the AFL?
