yes we had the match within our grasp and lost it at the last hurdle, you can not blame any player as all our guys made silly little mistakes, but as rooey said remember this feeling and come back fighting strong next year. to all you supporters ragging on certain players obviously you dont live up to our motto Fortius Quo Fidelius

Congrats to everyone at the club for getting us this far, and let us resolve to go that extra bloody step next year.

But what really sucks is how the Hawks won last year with no GF experience, as did the Cats in 2007.

I'd like to take the theory "you have to lose a GF to win one" but I can't anymore.

We MUST make the Granny next year, and if we do we WILL NOT LOSE IT!!!!

I don't entirely believe in it either tbh.
I think the nerves will always be there even if we do make another granny. Might even be worse given more expectation.
Gee i hope this Geelong dynasty is over though.
