I'm surprised Molly
again whilst perusing the herald sun and associated booklets today
there is the Can't live without article of the week - Molly Meldrum
my eye immediately searched for the Saints icon- of any shape or size>>>>>>>>>>
NOTHING..............................
does that take away his No 1 saints nomination.?
Rhys Muldoon included something when he was done.

Haven't opened the mag from my paper yet, but that's disappointing. Would have expected Molly to use the opportunity to promote the club he loves so much.

which is why it surprised me-saint66au wrote:Correct sunsaint
At the risk of namedropping...Ive worked with him for one afternoon. The bloke has RW&B running through his veins trust me. It was the off-season but the minute I casually mentioned I was a Saints fan...he talked of pretty much nothing else
golly I thought it was odd- not a hanging offence- unlike if one of our players should miss a target

neither are hanging offences in my book, especially if your endeavour backs up the error, and hopefully most of the Saints players play with the same endeavour as Molly's support. Besides last time I checked Molly is not being paid by the club. Sorry its a non issue.saintbrat wrote:which is why it surprised me-saint66au wrote:Correct sunsaint

Does not deserve any ridicule on the strength of a fluff filler article.
True. Wasn't meant to be a criticism of Molly, just an observation that I was surprised he didn't mention the Saints. We all know he's an avid supporter who has done far more than most of us can ever hope to do for the club.

I've always liked Molly on the box and especially as he's a Sainter...... so imagine my pleasure when I found out recently that he's from the same place as my girlfriend's family - not only that but her father and Molly were pals at school! Small world eh?
Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...
