HOW SAINTS WILL EASILY BE 4TH IN 2 weeks time

Post: # 606436Post saint08 »

next week - round 17 : GEEL beats hawks; COLL beats ess; SAINTS beat eagles; RICH (in form on a roll)beats lions at TD; ADEL (playing for finals chance) beats syd ( who this week just held out a pathetic BLUES team); PORT beats freeo ;NORTH beats melb; DOGS beat blues =

Geelong 16 1 0 152.63 64
2 W Bulldogs 14 2 1 127.53 58
3 Hawthorn 13 4 0 121.35 52
4 Sydney 10 6 1 120.20 42
5 Collingwood 10 7 0 117.05 40
6 St Kilda 10 7 0 105.27 40
7 Nth Melb 9 7 1 98.54 38
8 Adelaide 9 8 0 105.26 36
9 Bris Lions 9 8 0 105.07 36
10 Richmond 8 8 1 97.46 34
11 Carlton 7 10 0 92.58 28
12 Port Adel 6 11 0 95.24 24
13 Essendon 6 11 0 83.54 24
14 Fremantle 3 14 0 86.29 12
15 Melbourne 2 15 0 65.73 8
16 West Coast 2 15 0 64.30 8

ROUND 18 HAWKS beat woods; SAINTS beat port at TD; DOGS beat swans at Manuka;

all other results won't affect our 4th spot, but assume LIONS beat roos at carrara; ESS beats melb;ADEL beats carlton;GEEL beats richmond;EAGLES beats freeo LADDER =

1 Geelong 17 1 0 151.74 68
2 W Bulldogs 15 2 1 126.61 62
3 Hawthorn 14 4 0 120.57 56
4 St Kilda 11 7 0 105.86 44
5 Sydney 10 7 1 117.88 42
6 Collingwood 10 8 0 115.20 40
7 Adelaide 10 8 0 105.66 40
8 Bris Lions 10 8 0 104.85 40
9 Nth Melb 9 8 1 98.57 38
10 Richmond 8 9 1 95.59 34
11 Carlton 7 11 0 92.39 28
12 Essendon 18 7 11 0 84.85 28
13 Port Adel 18 6 12 0 1721 1817 94.72 24
14 Fremantle 18 3 15 0 1537 1776 86.54 12
15 West Coast 18 3 15 0 1378 2079 66.28 12
16 Melbourne 18 2 16 0 1429 2133 66.99 8

ROUND 19 then important because we play COLL, and SYD plays frreo. If we and SWANS win, then ladder is

1 Geelong 18 1 0 151.31 72
2 W Bulldogs 16 2 1 125.85 66
3 Hawthorn 15 4 0 119.34 60
4 St Kilda 12 7 0 105.62 48
5 Sydney 11 7 1 119.02 46
6 Collingwood 10 9 0 114.18 40
7 Adelaide 10 9 0 104.75 40
8 Bris Lions 10 9 0 104.51 40
9 Nth Melb 9 9 1 98.10 38
10 Richmond 9 9 1 96.27 38

last games v , freeo , crows and dons

It's that easy!!!

No point playing the games really - let's just skip to Round 19. Beating WC at Subi is SO easy, and PA - who have they beaten recently?

why should we play any of the other home and away matches??? i mean we have only lost 7 matches out of 16 this year...we should go straight to the finals

Exactly....

I may be just a bit pumped up after watching the replay of last night...am I forgiven for my red/white/black tinted glasses?

If we beat collingwood, we will finish above them on the ladder.

What Sydney does, is up to them. It's in their court.

The ladder will look after itself.

Geebus ...don't like this post. I'm just happy with the last month and as a Saints person I will treat anything else as a bonus. Remember we never win a Subi and always lose to Port (hint: playing devil's advicate guys) so 3 from 6 at best and we scrape in at 8.

In reality I think that even if we win the last 6 (making it 10 in a row!!!) we could still finish 5th, given the fact that the swans would have to drop 2 games.

If we had been playing like this against the doggies (both times) we would now be seriously be looking at top 4. Oh well!

Correction, we beat WCE last year at Subi when they were half decent, and we usually beat Port at the dome. We're just s**thouse at AAMI

We've only played PA at Docklands 3 times, and lost twice. Not sure that qualifies as "usually".

I would think Hall is certain to play this week.

Funny how they decided they absolutely must not play him until they get psychologocal approval... no psych meeting has happened yet I am sure Plugger, they will find a new story to spin...

I must admit if I followed the swans I would want him to play. Dont see why supporters or the players should be penalised.
