Honestly?

He's good enough, but I don't think he will see a flag...

As much as id would love to see him go on. Theirs still a long way to go in this season and at hes age hes body could just break down before next season so i think it would be safe to retire at the end of the year

His unselfishness will probably say retire, but I am sure most of us would like him to be selfish for a change and go 1 more (again)

Can he get to 400 if he plays next season?

Yep. He's 28 games short now.

Watching the way he switched up tonight when Lenny went down, I have no doubt Lyon will not discourage (you can't actually encourage an enthusiast) him from '09. His form has been B&F Top 6, so never count him out.

Great man, but he should hang up his boots at season's end and let the young brigade come though.

While, like everyone else, I'd love to see him gone on, the worst thing he could do would be to play one year too many. I really want him to go out as the champion he is and not have him struggle through a season.

He will be the first man to play in the seniors with his son! Bring on Connor Harvey. He'll be eligible for the draft about 2017 I think. Harvs should be up to about 600 by then! The word champion hardly seems sufficient. Poor Danielle. Let's hope she's still a football widow next year!

As much as i would love to see harvs play on, i think if he went out with a bang and a B&F for the year i think he would be pleased. To even let him play on and if he struggled mid-season or was badly injured then it would be shattering and definitely not the exit to footy he deserves!!

I hope Robert Harvey plays on, if only to show the lazy over paid young pansies what the real standard is.

A BIT OF TRUTH HERE.

Good enough to go another year probably in a reduced role but his strength and verstility on the playing field wll still benefit the club into next year.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

If Robert Harvey becomes a sperm donor do all his sons become eligible under the father son rule?

If so investing in a new Frankston maternity hospital would be better value than redeveloping the Frankston football ground.

I really hope he plays on. He's half the reason I turn up every week. As long as his body's still ok he'll still be good enough next year.

If he doesn't play on, I hope he stays on in some capacity.

Maybe coach the kids on gut running and how to break a tag.

I've loved watching him play, ecpecially when you see his ooponent is out on his feet and Harvey just keeps going.

But I would be surprised if he goes around again, as good as he is I would hate to see him go one season too many.

if he can see 2008 out with no big injuries and the club doesnt ask him to go again, then its a disgrace.

i will be disgusted if the coaching panel doesnt ask him to go on for another year.
if he doesnt want to and has had enough then thats fine.
what a champion and leader he has been for us.

but seriously, why would u ask him to step down for the 'young kids to come thru'?
the guy is in our top 5 players?
if he was 29 and doing exactly the same things on the field that he is doing now, would we not ask him to go again?

age is not a factor in harveys case
