If the opportunity arose (and assuming he's healthy) we'd be mad not to.

In a word Oooh yes
He will be a perfect replacement for a retiring Harvs, while Armo gets another year under his belt.
He might even teach NDS a thing or two
I would appoint M Gardiner as his re-location minder.

Not a good idea - he could teach our players a lot, but nothing he teaches them would be good. Salary caps go further when players aren't funnelling lost of money to their local dealer.

I saw more sensible posts from that 'Chris Judd' character!

A crack smoking veteran who hasn't played ANY football in two years...great choice.

and would you believe him?

he refused an official sports drug test offered by Mundine's camp.

sure it was a gimmick, but it was a legal testing authority and he refused to take the test.

He has lied and lied and lied again. Would require a substantial body of evidence (ie 2 or 3 months of substantial weekly tests with a few random's thrown in) before you could say he was clean.

you can't take his word, he s a proven liar, you can't believe his dad, because his dad is EITHER a liar, or duped by his son, either way neither have cred.

sure he stuck up for his son, thats up to him, doesn't make him believable does it?

He can say whatever he likes, you just can't believe what cousins dad says.

How the egg on the face must feel for those who argued 'but his dad said he was clean'

Why even mention his Dad. This has nothing to with him but then again Fred you have done nothing wrong in all your morallistic life. And who argued he must be clean because his Dad said it?

I said you can't believe cousins if he said he was clean, and you can't believe his dad if he said ben was clean.

As for his dad, he bought in on the arguement when he started making press releases.

thats why if he are going to take cousins we should start a program of testing.

I would have satan himself lining up at CHF if he was a decent set shot.

anything to get us closer to a flag.

I bought a shirt from Target once.
It had a hard tag on it too.

I know how Dal feels.

Arrogant, lying, cheating, drug-using piece of absolute shyt.

Would be the first Saint ever I would boo if he took to the field in our jumper.

Can't stand the obnoxious snorting little turd.

Would hate to see him with us - FFS we are supposed to be making a new start.

Yeah hire the worst cheating junky piece of shyt this league has seen - ever in the history.

FFS give me Justin Charles any day.

Ben Cousins = spit.

Would Cousins be in the main draft rather than the PSD???

As such would you want to give up a first round selection to secure him?

i think it would be more sensible to focus on getting some young talent rather then going for a quick fix with Ben Cousins. this will be our last chane in a while to pick up some decent kids with the concessions gold coast will get

I'd give up a Glad Wrap zip-lock bag for the shot of Narcaine that saves that little turd's life before he pulls on our colours.

That's all I'd trade.

Scum and he doesn't deserve to be a Saint - ever.

Dan Warna is right short term solution.

However Dan you keep trying to make your opinion on the guy sound like

facts - which we both know aren't true.

yep. and they can probably carry another older guy on their list cos they have a quite a few youngsters.

plus the personal connection with malthouse and cousins (he used to coach him remember)
coach him? his best mate is MG

that is our biggest draw card
keep MG to get BC

he has plenty of years left just because he wants to prove people wrong

we have harvey retiring, he is an already made and fit player to fill his void

I reckon we should recruit him. Has at least 3 yrs left minimum, probably up to 5 given the condition he's in. Brilliant footballer and everyone deserves a chance at redemption, so before you starting throwing stones make sure the walls aren't made of glass.

500k? or 100K

i would say our best chance of a premiership is in the next 2 years.. why wait for 5 years? lets get it now then we have now... i dont care if we top up, win a flag and then dont win another game for 2 years, at least we will have one
