I have made a number of changes to the list this evening based on the AFL article - http://afl.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsA ... wsId=40025.

Any chance of making this a sticky?

I intend to keep updating the list and as I said earlier, may become a useful tool for those doing SSFFL, Dream Team etc.

,might only be 4 weeks......

Yeah I know, but the AFL link above reckons 6-8, so I took 8 as worst case scenario. I'll update as things change and use a bit of common sense.

Speaking of which, I had to use some with both Gardiner and Watts. The AFL injuries link has them both injured as indefinite, but judging buy some of the training reports on here, they both may be smokies for Friday night. So, as a consequence, didnt include them on the list.

We shall see...

Kouta injury updated to 10 weeks on list as per Tuesday Herald Sun

Chad Fletcher's injury only reported to be minor on SEN and said to be approx 2 weeks.

Jesse W. Smith (Kangaroos) has been taken off the list as he is now reported (on SEN - interview with Dean Laidley) to be playing in the VFL this coming weekend.

Ch. 10 news reported that Kouta should only be 4-6 weeks ... better than expected

Thanks for that...I'll change it to the 6 weeks then, until there is a further update.

Ken McGregor (4-5 weeks) = Achilles

according to the local paper, not too sure how reliable it is but they seem to pretty much have accumulated a list like ours!

Added Brock McLean (Melbourne) to list. Not sure how long he'll be out yet, but will be at least 6 weeks I would think. I've listed him as indefinite for now until his tests are done.

Have added Tom Harley (Geelong) for 6 weeks for a hand injury and adjusted Brock McLean (Melbourne) to 6 weeks for foot fracture as reported on SEN.

Also deleted players from the list that are now less than 6 weeks (eg. Farmer) and adjusted other players as required to reflect the completion of Round 1.

May not be that bad. An interview on SEN with a sports doctor said that Maguire's injury should be 3 to 4 weeks. He said alot better prospect than Brock McLean's injury. I'll wait on something a little more concrete before I add him.

And deleted:

Mitchell Clark (Brisbane) - now only 3-4 weeks

Thanks - Don't know what happened there. I originally had him in the list, but must have dropped off for some reason. Back in again.

What about Will Thursfield (Richmond) is read that he was coming back this Round unless he has had a further setback?

Is Fergus Watts indefinite?? Or what is his current status?

Hi,

Thanks for that. Yes, must have missed Thursfield. He is due to back from injury this week so I'll delete him as well.

As for Fergus, I believe he played last week in the Scorps practice match, so he was not injured. But I'm not certain where he was over the last weekend, unless he has had a minor setback. Very difficult getting informaiton about he and Gardiner and Jarryd Allen for that matter. So for the time being, I'll leave Watts off until we actually get some updated news on him.

I have further updated the list based on the current Herald Sun link:

http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/footy/ ... 42,00.html

As an example, this has placed Russell Robertson for 6 weeks and Kouta is still 5-6 weeks.
