He was good last week. Could have possibly been important in the second half for us but Lyon decided to sub him off early
Might have been part of the plan to sub him out, but he wasn't killing it before that was he?
He wasn't alone in that respect
The fact remains that we had half a dozen players today who played poorly.

Hayes is not in Lyons BS Inner Circle of Love. He gave no feedback regarding Hayes good game against North !
I am sure next week Lyon will bring in another Gumboot and drop Hayes.

It was either him or Membrey to be subbed to bring in a smaller player (Paton) to counteract their midget mids / forwardline
He went with taller Hayes ..... in hindsight maybe wrong cause Membrey did fkall in the end ... and it also left Marshall exposed as our lone ruck option
