Isn’t this still some sort of record in terms of a come from behind win within a certain time left in the game?

loved watching that again
was a sincity resident in those days
had a perch in the (2nd) doug walters stand*
we did something similar in a h&a game in august 97 ?
sun 10th of august it was
they led by three goals all day
they scored 1.7 in the last
we hustled 5.8 to win by 9
those poor sydney supporters that filled the dws thought i was one of them until the Sainters turned up
i reckon 20 of em came n shook my hand that day after the siren went
(i'd been running AMOK in the last quarter)
and they were genuinely happy for me
*
(leg end)
The biography was written by Walters' former teammate Ashley Mallett, who was the victim of many practical jokes perpetrated by his subject.
Walters, once fielding in the outfield as Mallett bowled against South Africa, stuck a rubber spider to the ball with chewing gum and flung it back to the notoriously edgy off-spinner.
Mallett threw the ball so far in terror it was never seen again.
Walters' legacy however, stand or not, will remain very much in the public's psyche. When it came to team camaraderie, bonding and big sessions, to this day nobody has been able to match him.

Gee there were plenty of players on both sides who carried a bit of puddin’ around their midriffs in those days!!
