Re: Just for Curly
I am sorry - do they interest you?
I would be more concerned with:
- the ones not paid
- Where and who paid them
- What was the result of the free kick
But mostly - Make Umpiring Professional - so that they are all on the same page for:
- 15 metres
- Whether a ball is out of bounds
- What is Insufficient Intent
- What is Prior Opportunity
- What is holding off the ball.

Re: Just for Curly
We may have barely won the free kick count yesterday but a few GWS goals were courtesy of some shocking umpiring misses ..... the Whitfield throwing the ball one in particular and there were a few others as well that should have had us going forward rather than running back to the center of the ground

Re: Just for Curly
We have to be better
We have to play that well that the umpires don’t come into the equation
I haven’t blamed them once this year, and I doubt I will in the future
Good teams, get the rub of the green

Re: Just for Curly
Umps weren’t the difference but I have rarely seen a side caught so many times and just drop the ball play on….Devilhead wrote: ↑Sun 10 Sep 2023 3:47pm We may have barely won the free kick count yesterday but a few GWS goals were courtesy of some shocking umpiring misses ..... the Ward throwing the ball one in particular and there were a few others as well that should have had us going forward rather than running back to the center of the ground
The deliberate out of bounds…we get pinged up one end
Play on giants the other..
Not to mention a ridiculous score review for a clear behind the whole ground saw
I thought the umpires were sub standard yesterday
“Yeah….nah””

Our tackles weren’t tackles. They were more like love hugsTeflon wrote: ↑Sun 10 Sep 2023 6:03pmUmps weren’t the difference but I have rarely seen a side caught so many times and just drop the ball play on….Devilhead wrote: ↑Sun 10 Sep 2023 3:47pm We may have barely won the free kick count yesterday but a few GWS goals were courtesy of some shocking umpiring misses ..... the Ward throwing the ball one in particular and there were a few others as well that should have had us going forward rather than running back to the center of the ground
