50 metre penalties change the flow of games. We were probably gonna lose but a technical one ended the game today. It is a shame umpires could not be entrusted to award short and long penalties depending on the “offence”.

Our players did their best, as saynta said. They're the players we've recruited, after all.
Our past recruiters, though who stuffed up high draft picks ... their ears should be burning.
But is that reason enough to stop supporting and quitting St Kilda??? They're gone, at least, but not easily forgotten (the basta4ds)..

Whatever hope we had of winning I think went down the drain with Membrey’s late withdrawal and the rain. Caminati wasn’t the right choice to come in and I think we pbly lost the coaching battle or the execution one at the very least.
All in all… A-grade for effort but quite heavily outclassed on the day
