Wanganeen-Milera

2021 AFL Draft…

Nick Daicos went at #4 and credit where credits is due, he’s pbly the best. But he was a FS pick, never a chance for us.

JHF and Rachelle = good players and excellent choices.

Amiss and Callaghan - neither team is complaining

And we’re loving our academy picks too

But… Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is everything we wanted him to be and has completely exceeded expectations to date. He’s fast, calm, composed, excellent disposal, takes on the difficult kick and play making responsibility… nails it more often than not. Decent defender. Gets a lot of ball.
Kid has re-signed… is almost everything we want him to be.

In a funny way, he’s playing like the player we all wanted Raph Clark to become

IMO pbly the best player we could have picked with perhaps the exception of Owens

A lazy 31 touches 4 tackles tonight

Currently my fav.

Of the three players from that draft, Windhager was the one I thought would be killing it right now. The reality is the opposite. Don't know why he is beinig played in defense, seems like he is out of favour with the coaches.

On Nas, he is a gun. Some average turnovers early in the year but with his last 5 weeks he'd be almost leading our B&F.

He, along with a couple of others are the main reason why I look forward to watching next season. I have more hope now for the side than I have in a long time.

Agree. Early on, he made too many errors with disposals ( which is ok for a young lad ) but is quickly becoming clinical .

Windy was very good again tonight. Had two good weeks in a row.

You can't play Billings there. You can't play Jones who lacks height so probably Windy had to help out. Maybe coach told him to tag Petracca and he played mainly as a forward tonight

I had him in a multi for 15 touches.

0 in the first
5 in the second
19 for the match.
