Been disinterested in cricket for a while now.
Can someone explain the hatred for this current team?

On that theme: Labuschagne originally a South African?
Can't imagine how torturous his constant on field yapping would be if he hadn't adopted the Aussie twang.
Guy's a bit odd? even if his dad did build him his own cricket pitch in the yard and tells Marnus he is a better bat than Smith.

The Windies batters didn’t do too bad.

But they took 6/780!!

Oh boy..
Are the bowling attack that bad? A couple of old hands and a pair of newbies.

Michael Holding’s average was 60 for the first test tour in Australia.

The Windies are trying, but they just don't have the chops I guess. Has anyone watched?
13 wickets taken by their bowlers, for 1291 runs. Almost a century per wicket.

This must take incredible character to keep presenting and trying.

I'm not 100% sure of what you mean by those six words but I'll enjoy the break from footy and the pre season reports.

Well, that was that.

Simon O'Donnell said he is finally worried about WI.

No sponsor on shirt.
Players with no sponsor on bat.

Fitzroy at least had a sponsor.

Was it Quit?

Australian team selection makes me reflect that I may have been unfairly critical of Richo. He may have stuck fat with duds but can't recall him dropping in form stars.
And no room for any WA player? Murphy's wicket was good though and Warner again unlucky, Renshaw unlucky, Lyon unlucky, just like Head - unlucky.
Sorry Richo.

When my pommy 'friends' came out of the woodwork (and boy were they cocky, in that subdued understated smarmy 'ironic' phony surprised way) around the time England finally learnt how to beat Australia, reminding them that their team was heavily South African was one of my few defences.

An innings defeat coming up.

Looked like a minefield when India were bowling, our bowlers can’t get anything out of it.

How do they pick Renshaw to bowl?
Ahead of Smith?
And the result is …?

Even if they lose, Smith and co will come home and whine about their pay grade, and the cost of sandpaper.

Yeah we folded like wet carboard but like every other cricketing nation including Australia they prepare wickets that suit their chances of winning the series & we were just not up to it & the next pitch won't be any easier . Their batting depth especially on home conditions is so much better than ours & I really can't see us winning a test ,maybe a draw on the apparently a greener pitch later in the series but we need to bat a lot smarter in the rest of the tour IMO anyway

Old McDonald had a team, eeh ei eeh ei oh,
And in that team there were no batters eeh ei eeh ei oh, with and lbw here and and lbw there, everywhere a soft effort, dropped catch here dropped catch there,
Old McDonald was given the farm, eeh ei eeh ei oh, and thought I don't need a tractor or pedigree stock or training in theconditions. Eeh ei eeh ei 0-1, with more to come?
