They should take his car away, then he’d just be Os Adams.

Do you ever get the feeling that we are so busy being the model of political correctness that we’ve forgotten what we’re here for?

I think SK wants to be the nicest team to ever win a flag. Isn’t going to happen. If this club doesn’t develop a hard edge pronto then it’s history.

Is this a standard action of any workplace to suspend/penalise someone for being caught drink driving outside work commitments?

Hopefully the kid has learnt his lesson but ...... let him play

I worked for 5 yrs at a warehouse (data analyst) and there were always 4 or 5 cars in the carpark with 'E' plates (do you guys have that in Vic?) where someone loses their licence for drink driving etc but can go to court to get an Extraordinary Licence which allows them to get to and from work, and nothing else.

Didn't have any effect on their work status, being done for DUI.

Only if he worked in transportation or the police force does this action come with additional penalties outside of court sanctions, such as job loss. Most work places would not know their employee has been caught drink driving unless the person told them.

Agree just think it is strange they announced his suspension and fronting up to team mates and then a few hours later retires.

Only morons drink and drive these days, In Japan there is an automatic gaol sentence for anyone caught. Should be the same here.

Didn't Sidebottom run naked through town, maggoted. Dusty attack a lady with a chop stick. Shaw run drunk from a multi vehicle crash, Fevola play the drunken fool at a Brownlow. As long as Os has learnt, well it can be put behind, can't it. He is fortunate nothing unforgivable happened.

I would have lost my job and copped plenty of negative comments to boot.
