You know the umps favour the Perth team in Perth.

Free kicks will hurt, both the ones they miss in our F50 (Hayes) and the ones they pay against us (Wood)
As well as the ones they pay to Freo in their F50.

Sharman needs to come in and float around the forward half, and pick up a few goals, but I would like to see Max leading more, otherwise players coming down the ground just bomb to the square if there's no targets. I don't know what we do with the midfield- just too bloody slow by hand and foot.

This club needs to win back supporter trust. Far too often in important or marquee games they have seriously let themselves and their supporter base down. Ratten reading the riot act happened often last year so the team will lift their effort but get the same result.

I was a Ratten fan, but he is getting hard to support when the team make the same dumb errors year after year.

Prediction: 30 point loss.

We were leading in the last quarter last week. Something was working..for a while.

If we get a hiding...we will proceed to the Port of Fremantle, board the 'Lady of St Kilda', and sail west in the direction of MH370.

Round 1 shows us that it could be another year like the last 10 .
Over that time we've been capable of beating anyone on any given day .
E.g. We beat Richmond in 2 of their premiership years .
We just need to be switched on .
Friday night we were pissweak in the first half . Better in the second but the damage was done .
If we play like that against freo we will lose .
If we're switched on then we're a big chance .
Unfortunately Ratts is going the way of Watters and Richo in their inability to get the team fired up each week .
