Wasted year. No improvement in game plan, clearance structures, ball movement, F50 entry strategy, could go on.
We will never win a flag with Ratts. Might do with someone currently available.

I reckon Hunter's done the jaw again......gutsy to come back so soon but I wouldn't play him again even if he's able now that we're out of finals

Would have been better to leave Hunter our of the team. Another runner would have been more value

29 touches at 65% and a team high 10 clearances.

He has days/nights where it looks like he’s never kicked a football before, I don’t think he managed to get one to spin properly tonight.

How can you tell?

Never had our best side out on the ground or close to it. Blokes missing large chunks of games. Tonight we had 6 players in their first or second season.

It's pure theatre, the way our games go, sometimes.
Giftng an easy goal on the siren to a Blues player, former captain, medical sub, just for old times sake.

Kind of like a fast bowler, final ball of the innings, giving an easy slow bouncer to a batsman on 94 so he can get a 6 for his ton

Kent, Hunter and Dunstan can’t be there.
Billings can walk and whatever we get is a bonus.
Paton replaces Webster.
Gresham in for Butler.
Coffield has to be a better bet than Long.
Dunstan is a keeper for me despite some dodgy disposal, does plenty of the grunt work
Butler up and down this year but is genuinely classy and when he's on, he's on - need him
I agree with everything else you've said

As an inside mid

If you didn’t get clearances you’d be hopeless

We had 60 hit outs to 10

It’s what you did with them that counted

We scrubbed it from clearances they walked it out

Am shocked at the criticism directed at Dunstan tonight.

Not his best night and poor disposal but bloody hell he turned up and competed all night which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for Ross who was more than happy to sit in space for a 1/4 and a half.
Got 6-7 touches in the last 10min to lift his numbers from appalling to baseline but no impact on the game, poor effort, no leadership

Give me Dunstan any day of the week. Kid is a competitive beast

Dunstan was better than both Crouch and Ross (again) tonight

Too many injuries all year on the back of what appears to have been an inadequate preparation. Our midfield still lacks sufficient class, run and spread. If we don't find another 198cm defender it'll be hard to seriously challenge

Yep as I just said, better than both Crouch and Ross tonight, team high 10 clearances.

Crouch seams to avoid criticism somehow
