Lonie kicked 5.1

Bytel 36 disposals.
5.1 is amazing accuracy for Lonie!
May explain a lack of pressure, not being forced on his right side. Credit to him though, you can only play the opposition presented.

Bytel is going to be a massive part of our future list
we should be getting games into him - so I struggle with his constant rotation in the seniors
Im sure someone will have a reason/explanation

Did you like this comment on Allison mate. I did.

"“Matty is improving a lot, he’s finding the ball a lot more and he’s feeling confident with the ball in his hands.

“He is starting to understand that his strengths allow him to have time with the ball and run with it.

“We’re now seeing the addition of him flying for his marks a little bit more, and the work he has been doing with Dylan Roberton has been great.

“We are now seeing it come through on game day.”

Yep there is no doubt he is improving particularly in the past couple of games, which Im happy for. All we can ask of the kid early on is to have a go and he is starting to show that. He is very slight so we probably cant expect him to impose himself on games, but early on he was quite meek in his approach to contests.

You would think the same of Hannebrey, he needs to show he can play a full game at Sandi before he is brought back in.

I think he is confused, with 'the cherry on top' and 'got to lick the spoon.

Allison comes across as a project rookie

Why was he our first pick last year?!

Seven players picked before him haven't played a game yet, either. He's very skinny and had a late growth spurt. Not everyone jumps out of the blocks. This doesn't mean he won't make it. It doesn't mean he will, either. Recent recruiting has been better after the departure of Elshaug

Our recruiters saw something in Wilkie, Highmore, Byrnes, Connolly, and Bytel. Perhaps they were right about Allison, too.

I was critical of him and the club recruiting earlier on when he was pulling out of contests. But he has shown enough in recent weeks to suggest with the right development he will become a player. He is just going to take a bit longer to see that at AFL level.
