Over the years I've seen some terrible Thread Titles and this one is right up there as one of the worst.
IMHO it's just disgusting and the OP should remove it and hang his/her head in shame.
You can be critical of player(s) without stooping to this level.
And some of the commentary within this thread brings this forum to a new low, IMHO
To compare a player to a deadly disease that has likely robbed many of the posters on this forum of a loved one or good friend is, IMHO, despicable.

Yeah I agree. I get that the OP is using a hyperbole to emphasise their point but even disregarding the bad taste of it... there’s an emotional overreaction here that I’m finding quite challenging

However, there would be virtually no one on this thread, or in the community as a whole who has not lost or known someone who has lost a loved one to the cancers.

I think it would diminish the English language if we are unable to use a word in a metaphorical sense because the literal is so painful.

I think we understand the analogy. I know I hate cancer, I know I don't like bad apples inside work & sporting clubs. I'm quite confident I don't hate or not like Brad Hill.

Without hearing anything to the contrary from inside the club, I doubt Brad Hill is either a bad apple, let alone a cancer.

I think a better heading would be Brad Hill’s attitude or approach is a cancer....etc would be more acceptable than current heading.

As critical as I am of the way he “approaches”the contest I really don’t like the terminology used!
