Lovett was a s*** Bloke who already had fitness & discipline issues since arriving at the club.
Late and most SRD training sessions and had the senior players offside very early.
IMO the club was Happy to get rid of him after working out he was a lazy undisciplined d**khead.

I remember hearing our president say that our constitution limited the term of a president. Probably a good thing. The Pies obviously don't have that, unless the limit is at the discretion of the president.

Clubs play with plenty of s*** blokes. I reckon theyed have been very happy running out with him in the 2010 GF a d**khead or not. Unfortunately such was the media witch hunt on Lovett club had no choice.

I may be remembering this incorrectly...
Didn’t a large number of the list essentially refuse to play with him after the ‘incident’?
It may well have been the case that the club had little option but to cut him.
Seems very unlikely that the AFL would make us fire him... dozens of players of AFL lists that have done some shady stuff.
