The Flux Report: Cataclysm (avoided) Round.

Interstate games, and games in cow town. Love them!

The pre-game is the best part. As O.J. recommends, always arrive early.

Leave yourself some time to kill.

Assessment:
Lost it at the selection table. A-bloody-gain!!!!! !!!! :x

- Brown back. Final-bloody-ly!!! Lost count of how many times he saved us. Joke that he was dropped. A very sad joke.
- Good to see Lonie back too.
- MacKenzie named in a forward pocket(?) Good to see them trying something, though suspect desperation is their actual motivation. Regardless - didn't work. If only we had a bloke like B White to try down there. Oh wait on...
- Despite his recent form, wouldn't have dropped Parker. Newnes and/or Sinclair should've gone before him.
- And, (unsurprisingly :stinger: ) - still no B White! :o
- Still no Langlands!
- Still Newnes!
- The forward line was still too short. (Though that didn't bloody stop the bombing. Again. :x )
- Still no bloody idea!!!

The second quarter was better however. But the second half?????????? What went wrong? Dead cat bounce?

Well, this didn't help.

<The definite article deleted by Mods) went for a walk around the boundary with Grubby Allen whilst Ratten gave the boys the half time address.

And do we really want this bloke as our senior choach???
B.M wrote: Tue 09 Jul 2019 5:16pmRatten is overrated

Upsides were Marshall (again) and Clark. These blokes show why continuity of selection is a must!

Marshall previously was showing promise, trying stuff, but it wasn't quite (yet) coming off, only be dropped. :( Finally gets continuity (through injury, not choaching nous  ), and what happens???? He settles, and improves with every game.

Clark was similar. You could see what he was trying to do, but the pace of senior footy caught him out. Finally he gets some continuity, and low and behold............ he's now finding time and space to show us his tricks.

Coffield. Coffield is currently at the start of that journey. You can clearly see what he's trying to do. You can clearly see that he still hasn't picked up the pace of senior footy. But, you can clearly see he's getting there. Play him!!!

Now bloody well get Saynta's man Langlands into the side! And White! And Phillips!

Anyway, we're now 17th (on percentage),
despite a soft as Jack Watts fixture,
and despite being only the 12th worst affected by injury team. https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-06-06/ ... g-the-odds

Oh well. At least the TRUE DECEIVERS are happy. :x

This week's analysis Committee:
- Catherine. (Entertaining everyone. Quite the hostess. Brought takeaway again. Chowder again, followed by the chunky custard for dessert, again. Mmmmmmmm.)
- Aaron. (Back, for the chunky custard, again. Not such a fan of the chowder though, again.)
- Saxons. (RosKilda’s favourite poster/s. He'd never go to Shanghai. And he’d never go to the Cattery – except to mine coal.)
- king9. (Girl power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!)
- toni1975 (tony1975’s hot little sis’. More girl power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!)
- HarrietM (HarryM’s hot little sis’. Even more girl power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! You can’t have too much girl power!)
- Keyboard Cat (Cat power!!!!!!!!!! !!!)
- Parquetrysainter. (Still just like Ted).
- Owen.
- BFTNorway - Simon the Troll Hunter.

Missing: :(
- Rodger. <swoon> Come back Rodger! We can get Kinky for you too.
- Vaas Montenegro. (viewtopic.php?f =1&t=99024&p=1806455#p1806439 You people really shouldn’t go giving Vaas ideas. )
- Mr Cuddly Duck. (Should be posting back here, not posting over on Big Boring. Come home Huggie.)
- Sainter K. (Where are you?)
- Jaffa Boy/Straw Man/Concern Troll. (Still fighting with himself/himselves. Needs to get a room with himself/himselves. )
- Kingky12. Image
(Where are you Kingster!?! You should be out on parole by now! Anyway, here’s a tribute to your current favourite footballing presence. :D )

- BornAgainNorwegianTed12. Everyone’s favourite Norwegian internet troll and emerging young fiction writer. :) Troll power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
(Why is Ted missing this week? Last we heard, he's still on the median strip, Princes Highway, somewhere in cow town. Ted travelled down to cow town with He'sHiMan for the game. But expecting the worst, the boys decided to 'prepare' themselves.
Don't try this yourselves kiddies. :D )

For Loris:

That Cunnington ‘tap’ and our (non) ‘response’:
The boys need some specialist coaching.

New Coach:

The_Dud wrote: Sat 13 Jul 2019 11:08pmI missed that. Let’s hope for everyone’s sake, including Richo’s, it’s true.
I'm telling you now, if they appoint that fucker Scott, I will be giving him a harder time than you guys ever gave Richo.
Agreed. We need a motivator! A fire and brimstone hot gaspeller to really put it up (and out to) our complacent list. Hallelujah Saintsationalists!!!! :D

For the TRUE DECEIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
The new Hole in the Ted gang.

Hope you are not referring to me there sport.

I care about every animal , bird or plant life threatened with extinction.
That's nice to hear, but stuff the black throated finch and every other animal plant or bird life threatened with extinction! (Especially bloody magpies and bloody crows! ).

We still only care about all the money. 8-)

And about the s^^tf^^kery. :D

Ironic post of the week.
Norwegiantedtheodorelogan12 wrote: Sat 13 Jul 2019 2:16pmOnly losers start these sort of BS player rumours on facebook, Instagram, big footy player, etc. Absolute losers of the highest magnitude.

The ones that know they are BS and keep spreading them are just as bad.

Elle is now batting for the other side.

The Mailbag:
trev wrote:In which year the same team won both the wooden spoon and the flag? Is this a trick question? Did Ted put Waynecarey up to this?
The answers to your questions Trev, are...................
Fitzroy in 1914,
no,
we can neither confirm nor deny that.

Hope that helps. :)

Stuff to like:
- Clark (in particular) and Coffield. These blokes need continuity! Bloody play them Cho!!!!!!!!!!
- Paddy didn't get concussed again. (We think.............?)
- Joe King didn't hurt his knee again. (We think.............?)
- Hanners’ got through another round of footy unscathed. (As far as we're aware.............?)
- The Marshall!!!
- We successfully avoided a potential cataclysm on Saturday night in cow country.

Stuff to not like:
- Why Paddy didn't (and can't) get concussed again.
- Why Joe King didn't hurt his knee again.
- Why Hanners’ got through another round of footy unscathed, but aware.
- We successfully avoided a potential catharsis (i.e.; a bloody win!) on Saturday night in cow country. :(

Report on The Ted Report:
We still can't get too much of a good thing! (Or sometimes, a green thing.) And neither it can Ted. So there is no Ted Report this week, man.

saynta wrote:F^^k yeah!
