Not that it matters a jot - but I am led to believe that he doesnt need the money. Absolutely swimming in it. Not sure how or why.
Based on performance...
I’m pretty sure he has a full time job outside of coaching

What about the "the want to go after the ball and to help your mates out"
Who needs to be a good coach if you have "22 blokes having a real crack".
You just don't need a game plan if that happens, do you?
"The result will take care of itself"
Where do I sign?

Everything is prefaced with “incredibly”. As in, ‘I’m and incredibly poor coach’

I swear I heard him say “we’ll have a really strong bye” and I thought WTF?

That’s up there with the brainiac GT .....”exiting Rob Harvey in”.....(in fairness at the time he owed Butters a cool 1m and was on a Russian weight loss regime)

Compared to Richo, GT is Alistair Clarkson. Never saw GT play Hudghton forward and Heath Black in the ruck

Yeah we are not great.
Nothing has changed, unimaginative coaching, same same every week.
Be good to try some things up a bit differently but it doesn't happen.
Also my opinion but I don't think AFL is so great at the moment overall.
Very bland games and game needs some changes as footy is pretty boring at the moment right across the board.

Good to know I am not alone. I thought it was just me getting old a grumpy.

Used to watch a few games a weekend.

Now weekend chores have more appeal.

June is notorious for some pretty ordinary footy

At least Carlton have a few to get excited about. Charlie Kurnow, Sam Walsh and Paddy Cripps put on a good show.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we could have drafted 2 of them couldn't we?

The Doggies fans are excited going to the footy to watch Aaron Naughton, the Bont and Caleb Daniel aren't they?

We could have had all 3 of them

I am the same.
I look up every week and see the whole field in one half of the ground.
Then players create a turnover and stream forward and have not one player to kick to.
Staggering the style of AFL that has developed.
Not sure why we don't just leave one player stationed in forward line and play 17 v 18 up the field.
Worth trying.
