Most of what’s posted is either unsubstantiated goss from other pockets of the net... mostly from Facebook and BF, + feel good nothing articles from AFL.com, Age/Sun.

Didn’t mind the forumite in question until he started inundating the board with this stuff and reporting it as inside goss.

In fairness though that stuff has been toned back as of late

Very handy to get all that stuff from one spot - SS, whether rubbish or not. No need to look up all those websites, it's all done for you. Excellent.
Don't care who the information source is, or whether is is reported as "inside goss". Read it, accept or reject it, and move on.

Personally I prefer not to be mislead. If you post a rumour at least reference a source so the reader can make an informed decision on the legitimacy. A lot rubbish gets posted on the internet, referencing a source at least helps to wade through it.

at least when Tony, Jax and the others post there’s a semblance of truth to it

Don’t worry they are only paying themselves a disservice. They soon get a reputation & then wonder why they cop the criticism. Up to them if they are happy being the forum joke. Personally I prefer to have some credibility.
