It does reek of excuse making doesn’t it. What can the coach be held accountable for I wonder

Apparently there's not much Richardson is accountable for. Not the 33% (it's the recruiters / other coaches / club admin), not ongoing baffling selection decisions, not contracting a beat up well past his best 28 yo for $4,000,000 and then sheepishly saying, "we didn't realise how beat up he is", not continuing to bomb the ball into the forward line after years of it not working, not playing Bruce and Acres in the ruck when they're clearly not ruckman........he's not accountable for much at all. All the problems revolve around other factors and poor old Al is doing the best he can in the midst of it. He just needs more support because he's actually a great leader.

It's another preseason under the belts of the guys as well, many now coming into the 60-100 game range which is when you start to find confidence!!!!!

I just don't get all the negative bulls*** that gets posted on here, for f*** sake, it's not like we are 0-3 like north or 1-2 like Melbourne, some need to straighten up a little and be supporters!!!!!

Maybe the combination of AR as the cool head/match-day coach and Ratten barking out instructions, encouraging and inspiring the players on the training track is working for us this year?
Can you explain how Richmond has fallen in a heap with 2 injuries?- a talented list with plenty of A graders. How does that happen? Talk about a fall from grace!
We just need to recruit some healthy A graders and start nailing our drafting... we are probably the least talented team- in terms of elite talent - even with Carlisle, Roberton, Paddy and Stuv playing.
We need things to go our way, but also our recruiters need to step up to the plate for us to improve.
I think we are getting the most out of our available talent. A coach can only do so much ...and it doesn’t take much for the wheels to fall off, as Richmond is clearly demonstrating.
