Agree with all the above, and will add:
ROSS
I have a history of calling him wasteful and not even looking before kicking,
but every time he got the ball today, he got on his bike and looked upfield, and kicked incredibly well to a player's advantage.
It's normally rare for him, but I imagine Ratten has gotten in his ear at some stage and said 30+ don't matter, it's what you bloody do with it.

I am impressed and really happy.

CALUM WILKIE!!!!! One of the best debut games I have seen in a long while. Great intercept mark, beautiful disposal and very cool under pressure. The recruiters get bagged relentlessly on this supposed "fan forum" but never get any credit.
Wilkie is a ripper and so is Parker

Quite often, far too often when he's in the clear, he just bombs it long.
Today, he knew he had a metre or two on the chaser, and ran to look and steady. He bounced a few times too.
He's TURNED A CORNER and hoping he keeps up this class.

Parker, Wilkie, Steven, Billings, Battle, Bruce and Newnes were all big ticks for me, oh and the 4pts wasn't bad either.

So happy to see Josh Bruce back.

Great to see new faces in the line up. We also have good depth which will put pressure on players to retain their spots

Sandy won and our listed players played well. Winning in the magoos is just as important imo for the young players' development.
