Saintsational poster’s true identity exposed!
Billy gets picked in the team for the first time since round 2.
Stonecold has not been sighted around here since then.
Coincidence? I think not!
Not enough time for forums when you’ve got a plane to catch!
Good luck Billy/Stoney!

BLonger?, I thought he was THickey. He was just being a bit hard on himself, to conceal his identity.
*Allegedly.

Re: Saintsational poster’s true identity exposed!
In an age where the leading ruckmen in the competition are credited with 20 or more possessions a game, so contributing around the ground, St Kilda in their wisdom go back to a knock ruckman who otherwise minimally touches the ball
So in effect we are one player down before we start
From what I hear of last week it was a cumbersome, out muscled and out run midfield that led to the rout particularly with Steven negated out of the game
And that cumbersome mid field is retained - along with other non contributors including those whose lack of pace puts their disposal under pressure aka Ross
No doubt Geary will come back after the bye to add to those the opposition wants to see the ball in the hands of
We had a round table reminisce en route and recounted the transition from Bill Wedding who was a multiple All Australian when we were all school kids in Adelaide to Neil Button who transitioned from a ruckman to a class CHF - as did Davies at Sturt and Carey at Glenelg
The focus was on SA footy because some of the guys did not cross the border but in the VFL ruckmen such as Teasdale and Moore among others replicated what happened in the SANFL
The knock ruckman was a dinosaur of a previous time
And now St Kilda go back to a knock ruckman whilst not addressing to core reason the team is languishing as it is
Players who lack a point of difference that makes them dangerous
So the one paced players and others with most obvious deficiencies survive
The options must be tried because that is where St Kilda is at
We need to know ahead of 2019
Those who saw last week's game were absolutely scathing - and Hickey was not the focus of the rants
The consensus is that the Ruskies would have outscored us yesterday
Mind you they were significantly dismissed prior as the worst side the Ruskies had put on the park - and 5-0!

Having Longer in the team means we're minus 20 possessions + having Nathan Brown in the team means we're minus another 20 possessions = minus 40 possessionsTo the top wrote: ↑Fri 15 Jun 2018 9:34pm In an age where the leading ruckmen in the competition are credited with 20 or more possessions a game, so contributing around the ground, St Kilda in their wisdom go back to a knock ruckman who otherwise minimally touches the ball

Re: Saintsational poster’s true identity exposed!
Team selection was self presivation cowardice.
Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.
Hoping for a loss tomorrow against Gold Coast.
Then
Sack the coach and his mates
Longer to never play again and Armitage to carry his bags.
Finally we can start to build a team of people that can make us a great club again one day.

Stoney is possibly Lazar, but who knows
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Stonecold may be Stonewarm on the Gold Coast this weekend
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
