Story on Aiden Bonar a young Dandy Stingray player on the AFL website.

Returning from a knee injury but apparently very highly rated, the thing that caught my eye was his parents.

Mum is from Papua New Guniea and dad is a Scot, would this not therefore mean that he is would be eligible as a Future Generation selection for us?

Pretty sure you can only get a kid under that scheme if the don't get picked in the draft???

I believe that you can pick them up he same way as the northern states academy kids or father sons.

Not eligible to be elected because he is a Tri-National. (Australian, Papuan New Guinean and British)
